Beautiful beach

Soft sand, blue water . It's the only public beach but it's wasn't crowded at all! It worth visiting after you had your 4x4 Safari around the island .

Nice sheltered public beach. White sands and blue waters. Watch out for glass in the sand and dont leave valuables lying around.

Matira beach is the largest beach on the island. Sure you can find private beaches at your own resort or smaller beaches, but take advantage of this one's popularity. There are others there that you can meet to have drinks, or just people watch. You can also try to walk to the reef from here like some of the fisherman... More

Matira Beach was across the street from our resort so catching the sunsets in the evening was absolutely dreamy. The beach was very quiet which made it even better.

We loved wandering over to this beach from the IC Le Moana. We went to the restaurant, paddled over in kayaks, and paddleboards. even had a picnic. Nicest beach in BoraBora, and its locals beach as well.

Lots of sand and warm waters, but when staying at one of the hotels not on the main island it takes some time and money to get there. Beautiful, but we would have been just as happy staying at the hotel.

The colors of the water is so very impressive, many many shades of blue and it is so very clear. Will come back on day for a full day of swimming and relaxing.

The best spot to chill out when you're off ! You have to go to the snack "coca cola", this is just the best one to take a panini and an ice coco :)
