While staying at the St. Regis, we took the shuttle boat over to Viatape and then a bus to the beach. They were all at no charge. The beach was beautiful, with shallow water you could wade out in for quite a distance. It looked alot like an infinity pool. There were outside showers and a bath house. However, there... More

Water was beautiful.....lots of current if you are trying to snorkel. Stay on the paths otherwise you will get covered in little burs....Weekends are busy as all the locals usually are out....lay your towel in a sandy spot under a tree.

I was expecting perfect sand but it was more like large pieces of coral. Still that water was awesome. You can tell its a real local hangout too. There were a lot of teenagers congregating and younger kids making sand sculptures. It was nice to get away from the dog an pony show of the hotels and see real Bora... More

Gorgeous beach, the best on the island for swimming I think. Stunning views, even better at sunset. Very deserted in Jan.

The beach was pretty and the water was beautiful. The reef was quite far out and without fins I heard several people say that they were exhausted when getting back to shore. The beach is not very big and their is very little shade available. The major concern was that as we arrived at the beach a woman was loudly... More

This beach was lovely...not very long, but it wasn't crowded at all during the week. A few places to get a beer, a large covered area to get out of the sun, bathrooms, and beautiful water. It was a great way to spend our 2nd day in Bora Bora. Take the local bus for $5 pp each way from the... More

Recently went on a 10 day cruise in French Polynesia. We booked many excursions and on our 3 day stop to Bora Bora we had an afternoon free. We took a cab for $5 bucks each to the beach (and $5 back) from the pier. What a beautiful beach. Nice shallow calm blue waters and not crowded at all. Even... More

The only beach on Bora Bora that's available to the public, beautiful calm beach, like swimming in the biggest swimming pool ever.
