Must see beach in the island of Bora-Bora. I was thinking it was crowded but when we got there it was just 3 of us and a local little boy with his kayak. He wanted to chat but unfortunately, he only speaks French and I only speak English.

What a treat this beach area is - full of local people enjoying the sun, sand and sea. The water is crystal clear, it is possible to swim out almost to the reef. Made two trips here during my visit to Bora Bora

This is a beautiful stretch of public beach on Bora Bora. The sand is medium to fine grained, the water crystal clear and warm. The bottom of the sea is rock free. Beautiful beach in Bora Bora. One of the few public beaches on the island. There is also a restaurant called Matira Beach restaurant there.

We stayed at the IC Moana and access to this beach is just opposite the resort so although there is a fabulous beach on the resort we decided to see how this public beach was. Beautiful - crystal clear water and white sands, but the best was watching the sun go down. Bora Bora has stray dogs and a few... More

Don't miss this lovely white sand beach at the tip of Bora Bora. It is even more exquisite than it looks on postcards and calendars. We spent a relaxing afternoon there.

This public beach is very nice. It's beautiful and it was never very crowded when we walked through or visited. Also a great spot to watch the sunset!
