The only beach on Bora Bora that's available to the public, beautiful calm beach, like swimming in the biggest swimming pool ever.

Wow - this is quintessential Polynesia - white sand beach with emerald green waters - beautiful beach and easy to get to on any local bus.

Just visited the beach in the evening to catch the sunset. Nice views and wasn't very crowded. I did not visit this during the day so I cannot say how crowded it is during the day.

This is a beautiful location, lots of white sand, rays swimming by and the clearest water you could ask for!!! You can pay a lot for an "excursion" and not necessarily see much more than you get at this beach. Great "local" environment, but you will want to get a car to fully enjoy the "local" atmosphere of this island.

The only public beach with an amazing sunset. The clouds looks like it's painting a story. A must do. You will not regret.

the beach is has beautiful white sand. This is the only main island beach that is really pretty. we enjoyed our day here. i was expecting corral but snorkeling i did see a big ray swimming around. i went out from the area where there is small parking lot where the road stops following the beach.

We started here for dinner one night and ended up going back two more times. I could sit on the deck of this place all day and watch the water while sipping a cocktail. The food is great. The service is great. The atmosphere is great. And they have foie gras for those who can no longer get it at... More

We were on our honeymoon and stayed at Le Meridien. We decided to explore the main island and went to Matira Beach. Compared to the clean, fine sand and emerald clear beach at the resort, this beach had rough waters, rocky sand and stray dogs. It was nice to see the locals and we tried some local establishments nearby. Nothing... More

The sand is nice, and there are a lot of local activities. Great for casual tourists who want to enjoy a mix of sun and fun.

Really, nothing special, other than it's in Bora Bora. A small strip of sand just off the main drag. Like anywhere on BB, excellent swimming due to completely calm water on the lagoon. Nice views just like everywhere in BB.
