Bora Bora’s beauty is breathtaking, and Vavau 4×4 Adventures is the very best way to take it all in. Our off-road vehicles are comfortable and safe, and will transport you to Bora Bora’s most secluded spots. Experienced multi-lingual guides share stories of our island’s history from ancient legends of Polynesian gods and chiefs to the lure of Hollywood filmmakers and seafaring adventure seekers. Historic World War II canons remind of us the social and economic impacts, and international influences on our island home. Stroll along Matira’s sunny shore, voted as one of the world’s top ten beaches by Tripadvisor. Enjoy the cool breezes at Bora Bora’s highest vantage points and marvel at the world renown lagoon bordered by the Motus — offshore isles afloat in a turquoise paradise. There’s no better way to come to know Bora Bora than by spending time with our family at Vavau 4×4 Adventures. Come enjoy the beauty of our island home. Ia Orana!

This jeep tour was the best way to see the island. We made a few stops at various look out points to take in the magnificent views of Bora Bora, stopped in town to explore, went to the beach and had a pit stop at Bloody Mary's. We had the pleasure of having the amazing tour guide Rapa Nui. He... More

This was a great way to visit the Island. Our guide was Hiro, and yes the jokes were there all day. The best way to see the island itself is ion this fashion, and this company were up to the task. There was lots on information coming from Hiro as we went round the island, and great views to be... More

This was a great trip at a great price. Our guide was Frank. Frank made this trip much better than any other duide could have possibly done. Frank knew quie a lot about the island of Bora Bora and added by telling personal storys (who knew he was a cannibal lol). Frank was also very knowledgable concerning the U.S. involment... More

We had Etienne and Penu as our captains/guides on a private, 6-hour fishing adventure through Vavau / Rdhivai Tours. I cannot recommend this highly enough for travelers looking for the best deal in Bora Bora! The day started out with a few hours of rod and reel fishing out of the boat where we caught Jack and Parrot fish. Our... More

We visited Bora Bora on a cruise stop and had prebooked our 4x4 Adventure. Franck was our driver and he did a great job explaining all the history and beautiful views we saw. My daughter's camera batteries died during the trip and Franck was kind enough to take some pictures with his cell phone and email them to us. Now... More

When you go, be sure to take the Vavau 4x4 Adventures with Patrick Mahuta! He has lived there his whole life and can give you background and history that no other tour operator can. His tour of the island was one of the highlights of our trip.

We enjoyed our tour of Bora Bora with Franck, who humorously joked that it was his first day on the job. We appreciated the homemade pareo stop and the opportunity to learn more about the history and culture of the island. Another French couple were on the tour, and Franck seemed to speak more French than English. He occasionally spoke... More

An interesting way to see some of Bora Bora by land. Our driver/guide, Rapa, was a very good and very experienced driver which was reassuring because the road up the mountains to see a WWII cannon was very steep and rough-- but not too long. Well worth the great views from there and another view spot up a similar rough... More
