Embark in a guided exploration of one of the Bora Bora lagoon reef onboard your own 2-seat open submersible/scooter. The scooters have an electrical propulsion and are autonomous thus not limiting you to a small diving area. A typical dive will cover approximately 1.5 Kilometer underwater at a depth of 3-4 meters (12-15 feet) and will last 30-40 minutes. Our guide will stop along the way to allow you to observe the marine life up close. During the briefing, our guide will teach you how to pilot and debrief you after the dive about the marine life you have. There is no need to be a swimmer or diver to enjoy the experience, anyone over 16 years of age can be a pilot! Your head will stay dry in its glass bubble, you will breath as you would on the surface. You will be able to talk and share your feelings during the dive while sharing unforgivable moments. The whole excursion will encompass: 1- FREE Pick up in Vaitape or at one of the Hotels base in our comfortable van. 2- Departure from the pier in Vaitape for a 15-20 minute boat ride to our marine base in the Bora Bora lagoon. 3- Briefing and dive, fresh fruits and refreshments afterward 4- You will then embark on a sightseeing boat ride with a stop to swim and snorkel before returning to Vaitape where you will then be picked up. An optional video of your underwater tour is also available for sale after the dive. You are also encouraged to take your own underwater camera if you have one. We have been operating the "scooters" for over 8 years with a perfect safety record. The "scooters" are engineered with a primary air source and backup, it is not possible to neither tilt during the dive nor run out of air. « less

If you get a chance to try this - you should definitely do it. The ability to be underwater and driving a scooter around without needing to have tanks on your back and be SCUBA certified is just awesome. The water is so clear you can see all the fish and coral perfectly and the guides explain just what to... More

I have thoroughly enjoyed this adventure, as I cannot swim this was a great opportunity to get under water and see all fish swimming around... It's very quickly though and the instructor stops so much you hardly drive the bike, what is quite annoying is that they film you all the time and then trying selling you the video for... More

I never dive before so this was an option to try something to see underwater beauty world. I have to say Bora Bora has Coral reefs with an amazing spectrum of colorfull fishes and sea animals. Everybody should see this beauty at least by aquabike. It' s easy to use, instructors of diving explain you everything what and how to... More

This adventure moved into my top 10 experiences. The day we went there was only the 2 of us. We had the guide all to ourselves. We brought a good underwater camera with us so got lots of awesome photos. Initially my ears plugged up which I instantly thought would be a problem but thankfully resolved quickly. The guide was... This is a wonderful way to enjoy an underwater adventure. Not only is it a great time it is also very easy and comfortable. Our trip involved several stops with top tours in each location but this adventure was our favorite.

My husband and I decided to try out the Aqua Bike on a recent trip to Bora Bora. You climb onto the bike above water, and then it is lowered into the water about 20 ft below the surface. Your head stays dry because it's in an air bubble with a constant flow of oxygen. You drive around for about... More

My friend and I decided this was something only offered in two places of the world so well worth the expense - and it was! Our guide, the photographer, everything was absolutely wonderful. To be able to see and touch some of the spectacular underwater life from these fantastic little aquabikes is something one will never forget. We also splurged... More

My wife and I really enjoyed the Aquabikes! Matt was an excellent guide and extremely knowledgable. We were excited to see all of the underwater sea life while driving those cool Aquabikes. We only wished that we brought an underwater camera to take pictures...so make sure you buy yourself one before going on the adventure! After driving the bikes we... More
