On the advice of friends we booked Maohi Nui well in advance. It was awesome. This was the last full day of our 18 day South Pacific Cruise and as it turned out the best was last. From the moment we met our tour guide Edouard, to snorkeling with manta rays and friendly (if you can imagine) sharks, to visiting... More

Thank you to everyone who made our day spectacular! We took the full day Lagoon tour with lunch and 4X4 - worth every penny. They went out of their way to give us the full Polynesian experience - Lunch was spectacular in the most beautiful setting, swimming with the sharks and rays was a little unnerving but something I will... We took the 3/4 day tour with Lucien as our guide. The day was beautiful and we hit all the spots mentioned in previous reports. Lucien was fun and serenaded us with his ukulele when he wasn't pointing out various sites or encouraging us to get in the water with the sting rays. We had our own equipment which was... More

Made our reservations online with Barbara before our cruise. The entire experience was flawless and the cost was very reasonable. Our guide, Edouard, was informative, caring and lots of fun. He played his "guitar" and sang for us between stops. The snorkeling was great fun at both locations . . . Ed fed the rays and brought them up close... More

We booked a 2 - day tour with Patrick before departing on our cruise. Day 1 was a four wheel drive tour of the island. Very rough roads in a "bouncy" vehicle lead us to some spectacular views and a lot of fun. Day 2 we escorted yo an outrigger canoe and motored with 6 others to several snoring areas.... More

Matt was probably on the same Solstice cruise as we were. Part of a Round the World for us hence my late review. But it is difficult to add much to what Matt has said so eloquently. The highlight of our 3 month holiday. If you have the chance don't miss it. And if you take an underwater camera with... More

My wife and I joined 8 others on the outrigger boat for a wonderful morning of snorkeling and sight seeing on Bora Bora. Right there, you have the makings of a great morning, but our Maohi Nui guide, Mahana turned it into a truly memorable experience. We had three stops. First we snorkeled with some Black Tip sharks. It was... More

Five people bailed on our trip, so we only had 7 which made it nice and cozy. We did coral walk in 3-5 feet of water wear mantra rays were fed, decent amount of fish and some reef sharks. It rained the night before and the group was not keen on going to deeper water to see the lemon sharks,... More

We visited many of the Society Islands during our 20 days in French Polynesia. Our VERY BEST tour was with Patrick from Maohi Nui. He was the image of the historic Tahitian. His 12 passenger outrigger boat was decorated with flowers and ferns and he and his assistants were in Tahitian dress complete with loin cloth. Patrick was extremely helpful... More
