Rode with this family owned outfit into the woods. Great guides, very friendly and knowledgable. They really enjoyed their "jobs". We did not see Mt. McKinley as it was clouded over however we did have a wonderful time atop our trusty steads. They take your photograph near the end and then charge you for it, which was $10 per photo... More

We booked this trail ride through the Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness lodge. They picked my husband and I up, along with 4 other guests at the hotel and it was a short drive to the stables. We were given some long jackets to wear to since there was a light drizzle and to protect our clothes. They also had helmets... More

We traveled by covered wagon to the top of a hill. We got to feed the caribou, roast marshmallows, pan for gold, and visit by the campfire with owner, Steve and teamster, Justin. By the end of the day, we were very happy that we had the chance to experience this trip and felt we had truly made friends.

This is one of those tours where you can't get your money back if you cancel at the last minute so we went in the rain. It was still a nice ride and they outfit you to stay dry, but in the fog and rain there is no chance of seeing Mt. McKinley, and there were not a lot of... More

We went on the wagon ride provided by D & S through the Mt. McKinley Princess Lodge. After riding in the wagon for about 45 minutes, we went to a pavilion, cooked s'mores, panned for gold, and couples got to try to master the "moose kiss". I would recommend this tour, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about Alaska.

Had a chance to go horseback riding in Talkeetna with these folks. they are brand new business in Talkeetna (not really in town) They are located off Montana Creek off the main highway. The trail ride was fun but not much scenery. You ride along the roadway for most of the ride. The guides and owners are very nice. Great... More

The wranglers great! They knew most of us were inexperienced and were first and foremost concerned for our safety. They knew which horses were troublemakers and grumpy and kept them near the wranglers during the ride. Beautiful scenery and wonderful ride. I'd highly recommend it.

This is the best Denali wilderness tour yet. Our guide was Kevin Hey, very knowledgable, organized and helpful. He ran a tight ship. We took the trip back to Kantishna Roadhouse. We saw many moose and bear. Kevin gave us a lot of history about the park, pointers on the activities of the animals and geology lessons on the formation... More

My daughter and I took a nice one hour ride with a trail boss calling himself "Alabama" who was very nice and safety conscious. We rode along the river beach and then through parts of town where other tourists took pictures of us (funny). It was relaxing and Alabama was very differential towards my young daughter and her interest in... More
