After reading the reviews on this adventure, I decided to book an ATV tour for a friend and I. We were both amazed with the tour. Dennis and his faithful friend Cheena were absolutely the best guides and hosts you could ask for. We enjoyed the excitement of riding the 4 wheelers, target shooting, and panning for gold. All the... More

Wow, where do we start. If you're in Talkeetna this is a must do. Dennis was an amazing guide and historian concerning all things Talkeetna. The equipment was first-class and the scenery first/first-class! If you are looking for great outdoor fun, a history lesson, great meal, and plenty of ATV FUN, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! Thanks Dennis, it... More

Should you take this tour? Absolutely yes! We took am atv tour with Dennis this summer, he does snowmobile tours in the winter and it is worth going back for. The tour was flexible with our schedule, able to start after our zipline adventure (this was better). You pay for a lengthy 4 - wheeler tour through beautiful Alaskan country... More

We got more than we expected and were very pleased with our day. Dennis and Cheena (The dog) gave us a historical tour through talkeenta with amusing tales before heading out to his homestead on the ATV's. He made sure we were all comfortable and Cheena encouraged us all to come along. We had a great ride, lunch and then... More

I found this adventure looking for a family activity on our visit to Talkeetna. Dennis took great care in setting us up with machines. (They're so easy to drive) and took us around town sharing several stories about the area and it's colorful past. We then headed down remote trails to the homestead, His stories and descriptions of his family's... More

On the hunt for an Alaskan experience, we (a mother and two teenagers) had the opportunity to learn about and experience Talkeetna with Alaska Wilderness Adventures. Guided by a wonderful and informative longtime resident, my family and I will always remember the fun and excitement of discovering the area. Although my teenagers did not have a lot of experience on... More

Truly Unforgettable! My husband and I were fortunate to have come by Mr. Dennis DeVore by accident! We were looking for the mountain bike rental office and couldn't find it. We saw the ATV 's and stopped to talk to Dennis. We were just captivated by him and his beautifully obedient, loving partner "Cheena" his German Shepherd! It was later... More
