We spent two days in Talkeetna this past summer while in Alaska for 12 days. Without a doubt, our adventure with Dennis was a highlight! The ATVs are like Cadillacs of the ATV world and Dennis obviously maintains them with pride and the safety of his guests in mind. We spent a whole day riding through the forest, visiting the... My husband and I had the pleasure of going on the ATV tour. Dennis was a great guide and took great pleasure in telling us the some history of Talkeetna. The ride to Dennis's property was fun even though it was raining. His home and the creek behind is absolutely beautiful. We had so much fun and definately recommend this... More

Dennis was able to fit my wife and I in at the last minute. What a great day. He makes sure everyone is comfortable and capable of riding as we had a mixed group of experience levels. Then off for the tour and stories of Talkeetna and its people. After leaving town and over the bridge its down the trail... More

I had never ridden a four wheeler before but had ridden motorcycles for many years. The was quite an experience particularly when crossing the narrow bridge over the Sustina River. Dennis, our guide, was very careful to e4xplain the rules and what to do to keep us safe. The 15 mile ride out to Dennis' off the grid homestead was... More

I had never ridden a quad bike before so I was a bit anxious. I was stop/start at first but soon got the hang of it. It was raining and all wet weather gear was provided-ie boots, gloves, over pants, jacket and hat. Dennis is a fantastic guide and great story teller. We set off through town to get a... More

We did the ATV tour two weeks ago and absolutely loved it. What made it great for us is Dennis' personalized history of his family and how Alaska/Talkeetna came to be through the homestead act in the early 1900s. You learn about this stuff in school, but it was great to meet and see the actually folks who left their... More

I had recently traveled to Alaska from August 28-Sept 6 2015 for my wedding in Talkeetna. While the girls had a spa day at the lodge, my father, my sister's boyfriend, and I wanted an adventure the morning of my big day. I had contacted Dennis months before my arrival and he was more than accommodating to start my tour... More

We spent the day with our ATV guide, Dennis (the menace), and it turned out to be one of our favorite days of our vacation in Alaska. The tour consisted of riding ATVs through town, into the back woods, over a bridge, checking out his family's homestead, and then spending some hours at his own cabin in the woods (shooting,... I highly recommend this ATV tour for anyone. Dennis is a great story teller and his stories are very interesting. The homestead tales are great and it is great to see how his family lived in the bush. Then it was on to the cabin for lunch and target practice. A great day and a great experience . Highly recommended.

Dennis helped our three teenagers get to ride by themselves. Our day was rainy and that added to the fun for a couple of hours. Most of the ride is on roadway or trail and our guide was informative and threw in some local history and stories about the local wildlife.
