We had reservations with K2 Aviation, but when we got there we were told they did not have enough passengers to do a summit flight to Mt McKinley. When we inquired why they took our reservation in the first place they were very arrogant and unapologetic and told us "that's the way it goes." We even offered to pay for... More

We had a really bad time not with the tour but with the customer service. Due to schedule conflicts, we were wondering the cancellation policy. Since the confirmation email says please call us if you have any question, so we called them two days before the appointment. Their representative told us, "yes, you can cancel it without any fee".And so... More

The day we were to go out, it was quite cloudy (and even rainy) in Talkeetna. But since they had a pilot out when we came to check in, Talkeetna Aero knew the mountain was "out" above the clouds. (Someone else staying at our lodge had cancelled their flight with another service because they couldn't tell him if the mountain... More

We did the Denail Summit Flight in July. We debated taking this one vs one that lands on Ruth Glacier, and ultimately thought it would be pretty unique to go to the summit, which requires a specially-equipped plane to get to that altitude, and which requires that you put on oxygen masks. Our timing could not possibly have been better.... More

My flight was cancelled due to the rain. But Tina was so helpful. Amazed by their service and thanks to all of you.

What an outstanding exp. flight around Denali and glacier landing- is something unimaginable! The pilot, young and energetic was so nice , experienced, great guide throughout the flight, and did great job in an uneasy task of landing and taking off the glacier!!!! No doubt this adventure will be with us forever.

This is an expensive outing, but it is truly once-in-a-lifetime. We were so fortunate to be able to climb above a low layer of clouds and see Denali unimpeded! Buy the Northern Lights coupon book ($62, I think), and use their BOGO coupon. We paid $310 for the two of us, total. We did not land on the glacier as... More

We did Denali summit tour with TAS when nobody in Talkeetna was offering tour even for lower glaciers due to bad weather. TAS agreed to send a flight for just 3 of us since we didn't another day as we were scheduled to fly back home same day in evening from Anchorage. In less than 30 mins of notice we... More

My wife and I were really looking forward to our flight around McKinley. The day we were scheduled to go up was cloudy. After about a 30 minute wait, they determined from satellite images that it appeared clear above 14,000 feet. So, off we went. Unfortunately, as we climbed all the way to nearly 18,000 feet it was not clear.... More

A flight around Denali and a glacier landing was the highlight of our Alaskan trip. Such amazing views and easy way to see it in a couple hours. Smooth flight and landing on a glacier was a rush. The staff at Talkeetna Aero Services was very good. We had to cancel a couple reservations from party due to medical reasons... More
