I was driving up to Talkeetna Airport, looking for a flight to Mt. Mc Kinley. The first company I saw was K2 Aviation. I was alone, all by myself and nobody else was having a reservation. But they took me nevertheless. 30 minutes later I was in the air in a Cessna with Tony, a seasoned pilot. He proved to... More

Flew K2 out of Talkeetna in April. It was worth every dollar. Our pilot took us around Mt. McKinley and did a great job of explaining about the different mountains, glaciers, etc. If you're in Alaska, flightseeing is a must do. More

Great professionalism and unsurpassed scenery. Pay the extra fee for the glacier landing. I grew up in Alaska and have visited Denali Park at least 30 times. Nevertheless, I'd never seen it from the air. The airplane was marvelously stable and smooth - takeoff and landing were more smooth than a commercial jet. The views make you feel so small... More

We had originally booked this flight to land on Mt. McKinley and walk around, however, the weather did not cooperate and we were given the option to cancel and get a refund. We were only in Talkeetna for the day so we decided to take a flight and it was a very memorable, informative and enjoyable experience, Our pilot, a... More

For three summers I have done this gig with family and friends. If you go in July during the mountain school training ask to land on Ruth's Glacier. This is an awesome event landing in the snow. If the weather is bad, just hang close and you will get to do the mountain sometimes. Fling around Denali is an amazing... More

Thank you for your review of K2 Aviation. It is true that if you've got a flexible schedule during your trip to Talkeetna and not too large of a group, you can often wait to book your flight. For folks who may only have one or two times available for flying we strongly recommend reserving seats in advance. We're so... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review! Those glacier landings are a real treat, but there are so many factors that can contribute to not being able to do one. This winter has brought us some tremendous snow fall, and hopefully that will have a positive impact on this summer's glacier landings. We hope to see you... More

This was no doubt one of the best highlights of our whole trip. The views were absolutely incredible and the weather was a balmy 80 degrees that warm June day in Talkeetna. Our Pilot's name was Doug and he let me and my best friend sit in the co pilots seat for our short flight out to land on Ruth... More

My husband surprised me with the Grand Denali Flightseeing tour for our 12th Anniversary. We couldn't have planned a better day. There was not a cloud in the sky and the Mountains were breath-taking. K2 Aviation has a great staff and our pilot was the best. I had never been on such a small plane before and after hearing of... More

What a great anniversary gift! Seeing those mountains from the air, no matter how many times you've seen them from the ground, can truly take your breath away. I've often had people tell me after a flight that they were so in awe of what they were seeing that they couldn't even speak. We'll see you this May! More

Everyone's pretty much said it. I loved it too! It was a fair bit of money but definately worth it. One piece of advice, don't forget your sunglasses when you get out on the glacier. More
