If you are in Fujairah and looking for something other than a beach escapade, it might be worth it to drive 50min from the city center to see the oldest mosque in the UAE. Make sure to be suitably dressed so you can go inside. You can also climb up the top fortress and check the view.

Visited the mosque briefly. It's worth stopping at to have a look at but would have been disappointed if I'd travelled a long way to see it.

Was expecting a lot more. This is supposed to be one of the oldest mosques in the UAE (more than 500 years old). They have done a fairly good job of preserving but we were just left alone to "explore" it. Would have been nice to have some more information available about the mosque. However, a great view from the... More

This is a must see while you are in Fujairah. The mosque itself is small, but regionally significant. The fort above and behind the mosque is also a must see and offers wonderful views of the sea.

Hi, This is the oldest mosque in the UAE. It was interesting to see from the inside. Very small and a quick stop. Not much to do here but look around. On the top you have a nice view from the fort above.

While being on trip to our budget and family friendly spot in Fujairah “ Mahi Blog – http://maheenabbas.wordpress.com “ spent a memorable getaway along with visiting Fujairah’s famous & historic spots. Our driver cum tour guide Binil was so interactive and informative we headed for City tour after breakfast and went straight to Al Bidyah Mosque. It was a stretched... More
