Nice place to visit on the way from Fujairah to Dibba

Easy access location and the the little shops around were a nice attraction as well when you are walking to the Mosque.

There are mosques in Emirates which are way, way better than this one in every aspect. Nothing special about this one, in fact it is little bit grim to visit this place I say.

This mosque was made a long time ago (I think 600 years ago), waaaay before The Emirates existed. The design is very unique. Thinking that people who were here 600 years ago were so poor at the time they build this mosque makes me appreciate it even more. People still pray there every day five times. Unfortunately for non-muslims, they... More

Has changed over the years. Now very busy, bus loads of tourists, souvenir shops. Worth a look if you are in the area.

A nice drive to Furairah from Dubai very different to the glitz of Dubai. We stopped at this mosque we could not go in as we were not dressed properly so we could only see the outside. Walk up the hill to the look outs as its a nice view of the roof on the Mosque and surrounding area.

I saw this mosque as part of a shore excursion from the port of the Khor Fakkan. This mosque is very small and part of the original buildings in the area. It gives you a real sense of history. The area also has toilets but they are the slot type.

Visit this mosque and spend sometime there to get closer to U.A.E history and Islamic History. This place is pretty peaceful and you simply feel like dwelling deeper into your religion (even if you are not a Muslim). I was particularly surprised by something so old was existing in U.A.E. So do visit!

We only had the opportunity to see the mosque from outside as I was not wearing trousers covering my knees (Was in shorts). Quiet intresting to see the style of archictecture from the history of UAE.

Good parking places. Women need a typical black coat to visit the mosque. It is a small building, there is no entry-fee. To visit and to read all informations, perhaps to make some fotos of the place (in the night it is alluminated!), you need less than 1 hour.
