Plus a scenic view from the top - totally worth the low entrance fee ! You also get a good taste of the local medicine down through time !

I am fond of old furniture, which transport me to older times. Besides, the view from the balcony is worth. My favourite - the figures from the clocks!

It is a very tiny museum on 5 levels - the 6th is to see the view from the clock tower. The parquet floor creaks so much you cannot hear yourself talk. This museum has a bit of everything: pharmacy bowls, furniture, tools, pottery, ... be prepared for about 120 steps of narrow winding steps. I don't think the 30... More

It has a modest collection of stuff including surgical implements and some old tables and a door from the 16th century. Oozing with history itself and the creaky floorboards give it an eerie feel.

This is on multiple floors of the historic Clock Tower. Very crowded with a lot of people in there, but worth seeing and learning the history of the area.

Very nice presentation of the history of the town. It has a slight fee, but it's worth it since you also get to see the view of the city from the clock tower which is on top of the museum. The fee isn't very big and you get a lot to see for the money, so it's highly recommended!

I'd heard there was an exhibition in the museum dedicated to Hermann Oberth, one of the fathers of rocket science, who was born in Sighisoara, but it was closed for lunch. Maybe another time. At least I could see the schoolboys' staircase leading down from the tower, and the house where Dracula was born, a few yards up the street.

The Historical Centre and the ‘Down Town’ of Sighisoara are very rich in old and special buildings, where the bond between life of every day with cultural events, present every day in street or buildings, transported this unique place out of time. We can see people in various costumes , from ancient times or this times but other culture, which... More

Buy your tickets to the other two museums (the torture chamber and the armory) from the booth at the History Museum. You get a discount for buying all three at once. You'll do a bit of climbing, since the museum occupies 5 floors, but it's well worth the trouble. Photographs are allowed as long as you buy a pass.
