Our guide Dzum from the village was absolutely amazing. Our trekking was rated easy but turned out to be medium (for some it was challenging), I loved it! We had the best breakfast at Panorama hotel ( their dinner was not in anyway impressive though). We had lunch in the village and it was okay. Even though there was a... More

We did a 4 night, 3 day tour from Hanoi to Sapa and back. Myself and my 3 friends thoroughly enjoyed it. Mr Tam was a wonderful guide. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He quickly worked out the kind of walk we would enjoy, and made sure we got it. At all times he was helpful and we felt... More

We did the private 2 day trek with overnight home stay and would couldn't recommend it more! We chose the private tour because we wanted to go off the normal path, see more of the rural setting and not be limited by others in our group, and we certainly went off the normal path! Our guide Thai was great, very... More

Did the two day, one night tour of trekking and home stay. Scenery was breathtaking, very green and lush. We had Maya as our tour guide - she spoke great English and was very enthusiastic to talk and help you out. She was also very knowledgeable with trekking routes and alternative was to trek due to the weather - highly... More

We booked a day tour to visit the Bac Ha Sunday market with Pathfinder. We were asked to be at 7am at their office as the trip takes around 2.30 hours and the best time at the market is around 9-9,30 am. We waited for an hour until a guide and mini bus arrived. According to them, they only start... More

Our tour guide Mr Anh was excellent. He took care of everything in his control and we felt really comfortable with him. He had a lot of knowledge of the place and the people of Sapa. Since we booked a private tour he made it really flexible as well. Only thing is the picnic lunch mentioned in the itenirary was... More

Loved the trekking tour, it did make us realise how unfit we really were! The mountains are absolutely stunning. The morning clouded over, clearing for the afternoon and the evenings fresh and clear. The nights were cold which made me glad I didn't choose a home stay at this time of the year but the days were warm(ish). The tour... More

Booked 'Can Cau + Bac Ha on Saturday and Sunday' plus Sapa Tour including trekking - all meals included. Very hard to organise to do all these things by yourself for the price. Bookings handled very professionally including overnight train to/from Hanoi. Picked up from hotel in Hanoi and seen onto sleeper train to Lao Cai. Vietnam railways are very... More

We had an excellent time. Dao was very informative, funny and included the whole family in the tour. He was punctual and organised every fine detail well. The staff at Sapa Pathfinder were very friendly and adapted our itinerary to suit our needs. The accommodation at Sapa Panorama was very comfortable with excellent views. Excellent in every aspect!

We were with Sapa Pathfinder for a customised tour from Hanoi to Sapa included Fansipan climb and Halong Bay. I came prepare for the trip after reading some negative review from Tripadvisor. From our experience, it was alright but there are a lot of occassions where Sapa Pathfinder can do a better job. Positive comments: 1. The breakfast in Panorama... More
