When we arrived by trein in Lo Cai there was a pick-up by Pathfinder. We arrived at the office and there where more then 80 other people with is. They did put us in a wrong tour and hotel. It took a while before the arranged this well, but no complains about that. We had 4 different guides in 2... More

We had a great and unforgettable day tour with Maya (our guide)! We did a 5 hours tour visiting some small villages and crossing the rice terraces from Sapa! We had lunch in a "homestay" (typical vietnamese food), and they treat us very kindly. Maya belongs to the Black Hmong tribe, and we were followed by some other members of... More

We visited several local villages in Sapa with Maya, our guide. She was lovely! Really funny, with a perfect knowledge of the topic and a very good level of English. Thanks Maya for this amazing experience!

I was with a large group who did a four day trip with Sapa Pathfinder, walking and staying in homestays. Our guide Zung was superb. Knowledgable, friendly, great fun, really good English. He was great with our students and a pleasure to be with. One of our staff was ill during the trip and these guys got him back into... More

We took a three day trip and booked through Posh hotel which was great. We both were very happy with the tour guide, room, and services in Sapa. Room at the Fansipan hotel was nice too. If you have more time, try to stay in sapa longer.

We did the one night stay in Sapa and chose the hotel accommodation at Fansipan Hotel which was really great (we stayed in room 302 which had an awesome view and comfortable beds). On the second day we skipped the tour and received a free scooters from the hotel as a substitute. We went for a drive to the silver... More

I went on a two-day Sapa travel tour in March 2014. I'm rating it poor because of the guide. I think the quality of the tour totally depends on the guide, and I was very disappointed with ours as were a few other people who only went the first day and not the second. Our guide was more interested in... More

The tour plan was provided but a lot of things were changed to cater for the weather. The experience was only so-so plus I felt like a lot of times we were purposely being led through as many tourist traps as possible instead of spending time seeing the stuff mentioned on the tour plan. I had booked the 3 days... More

travelled with 4 adults kids, my wife and a 4 year old... Did one day treking close to Sapa then a longer trek through the valley. It was very cold but dont worry about overpacking as there is plenty of affordable gear in town. Unfortunately we had fog so didnt get great views of Fanzipan but the terraced landscapes below... Tour was arranged by our Hanoi tour agent for a visit to Bac Ha market. The bus was so packed that we had to sit on the aisle with no harness to protect our safety. Seems that this tour is to bring you to the market and let you autoroam. On arrival, no further talk on the Bac Ha market.... More
