We booked a 3 days trip to Sapa via email and we were arranged to stay at Bamboo Sapa is a lovely town in the northwest of Vietnam and it gave me a completely different experience. We trekked to Cat Cat village about 3 km from Sapa. When we came, many H’Mong kids followed and played around us. They wore... More

My husband & I visited Sapa on January 2012 as part of a tour through Vietnam arranged by Ms Jennifer from Vietnam Culture Travel. When we arrived in Lao Cai our tour guide - Mr Duc was waiting for us. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He was an honest guide, who did not take us to tourist areas,... More

SAPA in North Vietnam is about 10hrs drive from Hanoi or an overnight Train trip. Its worth a visit as there are many things to see and do. The views from the Mountain are spectacular, you feel as though you are on top of the world. The Tribal Villages are worth seeing where you can also purchase local goods and... More

Sapa was our highlight of 1 week in Vietnam. The landscape is amazing with beautiful valleys, high mountains, waterfalls and cool natural pools. We loved the yellow rice paddy fields in the spectacular valleys. We did a trek into the valley and visit Hmong & Tzay village where the minority groups live. Now I understand how they prepare for rice... More

Sapa is one of the most wonderful places on the earth, the people are so friendly and helpful. I loved the children as they walked the streets selling souvenirs. The hotels are cheep and nice and clean. The Mountain treks are worth every cent. I would not recommend taking young children on some of the harder walks. The overnight trains... More

Sapa is a gem nestled in northern Vietnam, only kilometers from the Chinese border. Even though you arrive in the early hours of the morning, you quickly see and feel the impact of french colonialists to established the Sapa village area as a mountain retreat. The scenery is breathtaking as the town of Sapa is nestled on a high mountain... More

After watching a report on TV about Mark Zuckerberg's holidays in Vietnam, I caught the idea, why don't try what the Face book's founder did. Then I searched on the internet to find a tourist agent that helps me to plan my tour. At last I found what I wanted - A Vietnamese tourist agent with a long list of... More

Sapa was incredible. We are a family of four, and our teenager was completely blown away by Sapa. We had travelled around Cambodia, been to HCMC and the Mekong, had stayed in Hanoi and cruised on Halong Bay. It was Sapa that won over my daughter. She said to me "this is what Ive been waiting for, this is what... More
