I enjoyed our spin around the giant slow moving wheel. It was a lot larger than it appeared and we soared above the nearby buildings. Be prepared to share the car with other people...we lucked out and had a tame group but it is the luck of the draw and with crying kids in the line behind me, I was... More

The atmosphere around the eye is great, plenty to see and do (even late at night on a weekday). The eye itself was a good experience, however visibility from inside the carriage is not the best. We also did the river cruise on the same night and much preferred this.

This is a great thing to do either in the evening, when you get to see the city lit up, or on a clear day when you can see a bit further. We tried to get on it several times over the course of a few weeks (we live just around the corner) but queues were always too big. One... More

I lived in front of it for one year and felt in love with it. The view was amazing. The colors, the atmosphere. I loved it.

Boasted as the only Ferris wheel built on a bridge. That's more than enough reason to visit. But the right itself is mediocre. The staff insisted that travelers can only enter a carriage when there are at least 6 people in the waiting line, so it's a bit crowded. Plus, the beams are always in your way so there hardly... The ride is about 35 minutes and we got on at dusk which really gave us some great views. Nothing in comparison to the eyes in London or Singapore but interesting that this one is built on a bridge. Afterwards the river cruise is worthwhile to see more of the city at night. Nice to check off on your Tianjin... More

This 120 meter tall ferris wheel is currently the 4th tallest ferris wheel in the world and is well worth visiting to get great views of the spiralling metropolis of Tianjin. The ferris wheel is very well priced compared to similar ones in the west. The day we went it wasn’t very busy at all, there were no queues and... More

The Tianjin Eye is situated, spanning the Grand Canal and inbetween the lanes of a freeway, which means that the pods emerge through the central reservation, which can be a shock. The views from the top, 120m, can be spectacular, but can also be poor due to poor air conditions.

The view of Tianjin eye was really nice, especially at night with lights and everything, so why don't you try to actually ride it? Well, the ticket is 70 RMB and the best time to ride it is during the twilight, so you will see both the day and night view of Tianjin. The ride itself is slow, but not... More

Best time to go up in the Eye. A great view of Tianjin, moves slow enough for one to actually see all of Tianjin! As it's a Tianjin icon - it's a must do.
