The ride is about 35 minutes and we got on at dusk which really gave us some great views. Nothing in comparison to the eyes in London or Singapore but interesting that this one is built on a bridge. Afterwards the river cruise is worthwhile to see more of the city at night. Nice to check off on your Tianjin... More

This 120 meter tall ferris wheel is currently the 4th tallest ferris wheel in the world and is well worth visiting to get great views of the spiralling metropolis of Tianjin. The ferris wheel is very well priced compared to similar ones in the west. The day we went it wasn’t very busy at all, there were no queues and... More

The Tianjin Eye is situated, spanning the Grand Canal and inbetween the lanes of a freeway, which means that the pods emerge through the central reservation, which can be a shock. The views from the top, 120m, can be spectacular, but can also be poor due to poor air conditions.

The view of Tianjin eye was really nice, especially at night with lights and everything, so why don't you try to actually ride it? Well, the ticket is 70 RMB and the best time to ride it is during the twilight, so you will see both the day and night view of Tianjin. The ride itself is slow, but not... More

Best time to go up in the Eye. A great view of Tianjin, moves slow enough for one to actually see all of Tianjin! As it's a Tianjin icon - it's a must do.

We went as a family a couple years ago and enjoyed it. The ferris wheel moves real slow so give yourself at least an hour. Also, if you are afraid of heights, don't worry. I am afraid of heights and had no issues with being that high in the air.

I was staying nearby at the Holiday Inn hotels. The Ferris wheel was just nearby. It was an impressive view of the wheel built over a bridge across the river. Very slow movement and it takes around 30 to 40 min to complete a cycle. Price is around 70 RMB and at a premium during nights. On a clear sky,... More

This is a long ferris wheel ride over the city - it takes almost 40 minutes! My fiancé and I unknowingly went on Chinese Valentine's Day, so we literally waited in line for over two hours. BUT I don't think it's normally quite that packed. Definitely go! I'm looking forward to maybe doing it during the day next time I'm... More

I didn't get a chance to get on the ferris wheel, because when i got there it's not much to see.. But it was a great experience, you can take the picture here and the view is not bad since the ferris wheel is above the bridge so you can capture the view of the river along with the ferris... More
