Christmas all year long with a countdown clock! The store is expensive which is expected. Christmas themed clothing are cute. There is a Santa year round too - free pictures with Santa! Also check out the sign - that says welcome to North Pole as well as the the pole itself (It was flown over the geographic north pole!)

I stopped here on my way out of Fairbanks and I was like a little kid again! This place had just about anything you could want for Christmas! There was Santa's chair and toys to buy...There were chocolates, ornaments galore and hot coffee. If you get a chance to stop by, its worth the visit. You can even buy cards... More

My wife and I drove to North Pole from Fairbanks one afternoon and enjoyed seeing all the candy cane street lights and seeing the street names. The Santa Claus House was the main attraction and was very nice inside. We enjoyed the display of upside down Christmas trees and the traditional ones. The fudge was great and so were the... More

My husband and I drove to North Pole from Fairbanks. We saw the reindeer (behind the fence, they were sleeping) and went into the shop. It was very Christmassy but basically all about spending your money in the shop. Santa Claus wasn't even there, tho you could sit in his chair if you wanted. Just got a few pictures to... More

During our recent trip to Fairbanks, AK, we decided to take a drive to the North Pole....Alaska that is. This town is ALL about Christmas. The light poles are decorated like candy canes. There's also a giant Santa which serves as a great background for photos. You can also see live reindeer (caribou) on the property. There were a few... More

We were staying in Fairbanks and wanted to drive to North Pole just for fun. We heard this place was there and wanted to check it out. You can get some fun pictures next to the giant Santa, or maybe on in ice sculpture sleigh, etc. Its pretty gratuitous, but you can at least say that you went to Santa's... More

We drove up to North Pole from Fairbanks because I heard they had reindeer at the Santa Claus House and I didn't want to leave Alaska without seeing reindeer (Running Reindeer Ranch was closed). One of the reindeer handlers was outside when we arrived and she told us all about reindeer and their antlers and their relation to caribou and... More

Lot's of Christmas decorations, we took pictures in Santa's chair, but unfortunately, he wasn't there. The really neat part was the reindeer on site.

Really just a very large gift shop, the Santa Claus House is kind of fun if you like this kind of thing. Gifts galore, some reindeer out back, and some photo ops if Santa is in the area. No admission so if it is on your way, stop by. Check website for open hours during "off" season as we went... More

We flew into Fairbanks for a Denali trip, so we took a quick diversion to North Pole. It's a very picturesque & quaint town with red & white stripes on everything, and the Santa Claus House is worth your time. It's basically just a large Christmas store, but they have lots of ornaments and cute t-shirts. There are also reindeer... More
