Not fabulous but you have to go there don't you? It's Santas house! They do have pretty passable coffee now and great fudge and a place to sit so that's a bonus amid all the christmas tat.

We were visiting the "Christmas in Ice" display next door, saw the sign and stopped in. We don't have kids, but I still really liked this place. First of all, unless you have a heart of darkness, there is something neat about being at Santa's house in the North Pole (yes, I know it's not the real north pole, but...

It's a dodad shop. The outside is fun for pictures and there are some nice gifts inside but it's really just a gift shop.

This is really a glorified Christmas store with the typical merchandise you would expect to find. I really would have liked to bring home a very unique ornament for our tree, but most of the ornaments were from China and I couldn't find something that was uniquely Alaska. There are reindeer in a pen outside the store, so that would...

There is a very large Santa outside which was originally displayed at the World's Fair in New York in the 60s. There is a Reindeer Farm and a very large gift shop with...

Wonderful place to live our Christmas each year. Santa was awesome with the teenage boys...he carried on a long conversation with them until we had others in line waiting behind us. Great place to mail postcards from. The staff is so great, they will even hold your mail for December mail. Great to have the North Pole as your postmark....

Sucked in by the typical tourist trap, this place is a nice quick stop just outside of Fairbanks. We started off our morning by grabbing breakfast to go and driving out to North Pole, Alaska. The Santa Claus House is really the only thing to see/do there, but worth the 8 mile drive.
We took photos with the reindeer, shopped...
