My daughter refuses to talk about this part of our trip to Alaska. Maybe it was my fault for hyping it up a bit, but she's 4, Christmas and Santa are magical things, however, I should have read the 1 star reviews on TripAdvisor before going. The Santa Claus House in North Pole, Alaska is a huge disappointment. It really... More

A nice Christmas store on the outskirts of Fairbanks. Santa wasn't in residence when I visited, but i did buy a postcard to send home to have the North Pole stamp. The area around the store has street names associated with Christmas, and the street lights are painted to resemble candy canes. A nice stop as you start down the... More

Yes, it's a bit kitchy but you just have to stop and see it for yourself. It's Christmas all year and during the week you can visit with Santa himself. Don't forget to have a letter from Santa sent to your kids and grandkids!

I'm a kid at heart so this place was really cool. It is literally Christmas year round in this town and the centerpiece has to be the Santa Claus house. It's basically a big store where you can buy all sorts of Christmas ornaments and decorations, but it also has Santa Claus and reindeer. If you want to camp they... More

I thought this would be a good place to find Alaska made ornaments - the selection is very good, but the prices are inflated. The store is full of Christmas items and the Alaska made ornaments are located right by Santa. I should have looked at the tags more closely as not all of the ornaments are Alaska made. Many... A wonderful gift shop with competitive prices. Make sure you go when Santa is in since he does have to take time off. There are reindeer and letters to children and/or grandchildren that can be personalized and stamped from the North Pole. Really cool place and fun.

The Santa Claus House is willing to hold mail so it's delivered the first week of December from the North Pole! They have christmas decor and ornaments to please even the most astute holiday enthusiast. There's a fudge shop and reindeer too! I purchased specialized letters from Santa and can't wait for my nephews to receive them!

We traveled to Alaska when I was 15 and stopped by North Pole while we were in Fairbanks. Even as a 15 year old, I thought it was pretty awesome. There are tons of different items in the gift shop and you can even send letters from Santa postmarked from the North Pole. I really liked the count down to... More

There is something for everyone. It is Christmas year round in North Pole and Santa Claus house is no exception. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You can buy a square inch of North Pole, You can have personal letters sent to your Children or others, from Santa. Santa is available for pictures. John Boulette

The exterior building of gift shop takes us to Christmas time in imagination. But when you get into the building, all you will see are just souveniors, Christmas ornaments, and all gift stuff. Very your kids will love them, but the others must be disappointed.
