We took the bus from downtown Fairbanks to visit the North Pole. We where very excited! The place looks cool with all the snow outside but, honestly, the people that work there need to improve their customer service skills. An elderly lady that was on the register did not look happy to see us, she didn't even say "thank you... More

Such a disappointment. No santa just a big commercial shop. It did have some nice stuff but overall the experience wasn't as expected. The area should be pulling together to offer a better santa experience as if done properly it would be a huge draw to the area.

The best way to describe this place is to tell you about my child's reaction. My 4 year olds jaw dropped in disbelief....Santa was really there. The gentleman did the best job ever. My son is still talking about it. They got to see the Santa's reindeer. The store was good and worth the visit.

Definitely deserves a visit if you are in the area. There are amazing goodies and bit expensive, but again you don't go again and again here :)

If you are looking for a certain ornament or holiday idea, this is the place. It is a retail shop, so plan to be there for the shopping experience, however, the reindeer and all the photo opportunities make it more fun than just a trip to the mall. Don't forget to try a coffee and fudge. The service there is... More

We stopped in this past Summer to buy a couple of Christmas ornaments as souvenirs of our Alaska trip.In July, Santa was there for kids & it was pretty busy. We had no kids along, so a quick in, buy it ,leave worked for us. Prices seemed pretty reasonable & heckuva selection. . . lots of folks taking pictures. I'm... More

This is a little gem of a [place to visit. Cruise tour buses came and went giving their visitors only 30 minutes to shop around. If you are really into Christmas, this is the place to visit if in the area. Bought genuine Alaska native decorations and visited with a live Santa (who really lives in the UP of Michigan).... More
