While staying in Fairbanks, we were 17 miles away from the North Pole, we just had to go! It was beautiful! So many ornaments that you wouldn't find anywhere else! It was delightful! Santa was still on vacation, so we didn't see him and they were getting the field by the parking lot ready for Reindeer Training School, it was... More

Okay..... I admit it, I went! While I was staying in Fairbanks I made the 35 minute drive and went to North Pole Alaska and visited the Santa Claus House! I actually had a nice time and even though it was kitschy it was a really nice experience. Yes, it's a tourist trap but the prices are not horrible on... More

So if you are a Xmas nut job, and love everything Xmas, this place is for you. All kinds of crap loaded into this place. Made in China. Pretty pricey. It was fun to visit once, and they have a few reindeer out on the leftside of the building.

Overall, I enjoyed my visit here. While inside, I felt like it actually was Christmas, but how could you not? There is Christmas music playing and nothing but Christmas everywhere! There are a LOT of things that are over-priced, but there are other things that won't cost an arm and leg. There is everything from Christmas bulbs/ornaments to t-shirts to... More

What a nice place to be! Santa was there! Lots of things to buy! We walked over to see the reindeers ! Then we went to the north pole post office to mail post cards. Take your address book along.

As soon as you walk in you are overwhelmed by the amount of Christmas stuff to buy. The prices run the gamut so there is something for everyone. The big deal is that Santa is sitting in his chair and he takes requests. I asked him to speak to my friend's little boy. He wrote down the boy's name and... More

This is a typical tourist stop, It has a ton of stuff for sale some rather expensive and other stuff that is your typical tourist junk. If you happy to drive by, by all means stop in. But don't go out of your way unless you just like the idea of mailing a post card from way up north.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. Plenty of Christmas items of course, but also lots of souvenirs as well. Plus Santa!
