Eco Tour including Nature Walk and Hiking expeditions in the rainforest of Ketchikan, Alaska. Venture out among the giant Sitka Spruce, Hemlock and Cedar trees and walk along a beautiful creek to a rushing waterfall on trails in the Tongass National Forest. Escape from the crowds, breathe fresh air, and enjoy the natural beauty. Experience the largest National Forest and see areas very few visitors get to enjoy. Sample Seaweed (Alaskan Popcorn) a unique treat prepared by natives. Next journey to a Totem Park, where you will see magnificent Totem Poles and a Clan House. Your local native guide will share their heritage and stories about the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian Alaska Native people. I opted for this tour during a recent cruise stop based on trip advisor ratings. Tracy was easy to find at the dock Her pre trip communications were excellent. She took us through town and explained some of the ins and outs of living in an isolated community on our way to an easy hike on a Tongass rain forest... More

Tracey was fantastic. She picked us up quickly, showed us a bald eagle nest on the way to the totem poles. Got us in and out before the tour busses... kept the kids interested and engaged. We saw a gorgeous waterfall, great hike, and she had salmon dip after (that everyone LOVED!). Loved it.

I found this through TripAdvisor and based on the reviews, thought it would be a great option for my family when we visited Ketchican during our cruise. I just wish I had booked it sooner so we could have had a longer tour with Tracey! We really enjoyed learning about this cool Alaskan town from a native. You really do... More

My husband and I did the waterfall walk with Tracy and her group last week and had a great time. Tracy met us at our ship and drove a small group of us to the site. She's a Ketchikan native, so her views of the community and life in Alaska were quite interesting and on point. All of the other... More

Two families of four adults and four children had an awesome tour with Tracy. We visited the Totem Park where Tracy told us wonderful stories that explained all the totem poles. Then we went on an easy walk in the rainforest to explore pretty waterfalls. She kept the children engaged with a scavenger hunt and then shared a yummy salmon... More

This is a good tour but Tracy makes it even better. Because she is a local resident with family in the area she puts a special tone to the tour. She says everything like an enthusiastic school teacher.

This doesn't compete with the high adventure stuff like deep sea fishing, etc, but it's an extremely enjoyable low impact activity. Tracy was awesome. There were only the two of us who had booked that afternoon's tour. I've seen others cancel their tours if numbers don't reach a certain level. Not Tracy -- she was there at the dock to... More

Our group of 8 enjoyed a nice 3 hour tour with Tracy Wolf. In advance of the tour her communication was very good. She adjusted another tour's time to fit us into her schedule. We met her promptly in Ketchikan and had a nice time. She has a microphone and headset she uses in her van which lets everyone in... More

My husband and I took the three hour rainforest hike with Tracy and we had a wonderful time. We were picked up promptly right at our cruise ship and joined another couple already in the van. Tracy drove us to the totem state park where she gave us thorough explanations of the native culture including explaining the meaning of each... More

We took their 3 hour Rainforest Hike and Totem Park tour. There were 8 people on the tour and Tracy was our driver/guide. She did an excellent job--with information about the trees, plants, bald eagles, native culture. etc. At the totem park, she pointed out the meanings on the poles which was interesting. The hike in the forest was really... More
