I enjoyed going on the Karts. The view was beautiful but it was kind of slow, probably due to some of the elderly people that were on the excursion and didn't want to get dusty from the dirt. Come on folks, they are karts, you are supposed to get dirty The guides were really nice and showed us the local... More

Driving a cart around on logging roads was fun and when we stopped the views were great. Well organised all protective gear supplied, although on our drive it was mostly dusty not muddy, but fun anyway.

We had a great time on this trip! We got dusty. Ate some salmon berries and got a rare glimpse of a black bear at the scenic overlook. Very knowledgeable staff.

It was a good trip - nice guides. Be prepared to get dirty - suggest you drive a bit behind the person you are following - let the dust settle a little and then catch up with them.

We learned of this tour on our cruise, and were surprised that so few from our cruise went with us. The guides on the tour were informational and fun. They karts were great fun, and fast enough to bring laughs and screams from all. The trails were beautiful, and the guides made sure to stop at amazing view points. We... More

We signed up for this adventure as an excursion with our Princess Cruise. Our older teenage kids were excited with driving go-karts in the mud. Well, the go-karts were great, but with no rain in a month, we had no mud just lots of dirt! All was still great! Mother Nature might have disappointed us a little but the go... More

My husband and I had a blast! It was quite dry since they didn't have rain for a few weeks. Rain gear was available to help keep dust off - bandanas are available for 5.00 to cover your nose and mouth. The trail was fun and the scenery beautiful. We stopped a few times for photos - they provided water... More

Amazing tour. It had not rain in the area for over 2 weeks so it was all dust but what a great time. The guides were very nice. One of them had to be rescued because his kart malfunction. They have the best photo deal ever: $20 for a stick with all the tour pictures. Will be back again.

Eating dirt is what you get with the Adventure Kart Expedition ($179), an amped off-road exploration of remote, private wilderness with amazing views of the Tongass National Forest and Inside Passage. U.S. ATV operations tend to be more conservative (read: less fun) than counterparts in Mexico and the Caribbean, but the guides on one particular outing, though safety conscious as... More

My husband and I did this adventure as an excurision from a cruise ship. We were picked up at the port and transported to the start point in the Tongas Forest. It was a bit drizzly and had of course previously rained so it was a bit muddy. Shane and his crew get you outfitted in rain gear including the... More
