I enjoyed driving the 14 miles in the Tomcar. It does well on the rocks and potholes. I did not see any wildlife during the tour as I was busy hitting every pothole I could find. The weather ended up being beautiful since we had a great view of the islands at our first spot. Our tour guides were friendly... More

The karts were fun, but the weather was not in our favor. We read about driving through mud puddles in the forest. Instead it was a dry dry logging road. We had to be careful too keep enough distance to not crash into the kart in front of us, We bought bandannas- thank goodness. More dirty than fun. Nice staff... More

Did this tour with some friends. It hasn't rained for a while so it was dry and dusty. Rain gear was available but I didn't use it. Got dirty but that was all pet of the fun! Not a lot of scenery to see. Made one stop with good views but the other stops were not worth making. Saw a... More

We booked this through our cruise line. We thought this would be a tour through a beautiful area, instead it was basically an off road high speed race over a dirty and dusty trail with nothing to see and no time to see it. There was no water on the road as they're experiencing a drought in this area. Most... More

I booked this expedition through my cruise on the Norwegian Jewel last week, and tagged along with my sister, her husband, and a few of my cousins. It was all of our first times to Alaska, and Ketchikan was out first stop. My sister had been looking forward to this excursion since we booked our cruise in February and it... More

Had a great afternoon on the Karts. They don't skimp on the time they tour you around. Well Done! They dress you in rubber outfits, so no matter the weather, you are good to go! Of all the activities we did, this is the one stop I regret not getting the pictures. They offered a flash drive with the pictures... More

Booked this excursion through the cruise ship. A little on the high side for cost, but we were on vacation and when would we get the chance again. we had 2 adults, 2 teens that had licenses and 2 students not of driving age. These were off road vehicles in an off road locations, so I do not think a... More

Ketchikan was 32 degrees Celsius when we visited. The Kart track was very very dusty and we had to purchase a bandana to cover our nose and mouth, considering how expensive this tour is surely they could be provided. The tour staff were friendly although I think they should hide the mechanic out the back. Unfortunately we didn't see any... More

The TomCars are very comfortable with good suspension. They cruise at a decent speed and handle the terrain very well. Rain gear was provided and the staff was very nice.
