We loved this adventure! Our pilot was informative and fun, he has lots of history and fun facts to share. Landing on the water was a hoot.

My wife and I scheduled a trip to the forest service cabin at Kegan Cove on Prince of Whales Island on the 19th of September. We had a very tight schedule as our flight to Ketchikan landed at 2:45 and we had to catch the high tide at the cove around 5. As you can only get to the cove... More

We did our tour with ASP on 8/26/15, what sold us was the out-of-the Norm route they would take and that it would just be the 2 of us (3 with pilot) and we would try to see some wildlife (bears, mountain goats). We landed on the lake, Jim the pilot rowed us in close to a place where he... More

Great experience in Ketchikan! We were greeted at the dock by Martin, very personable ,and he answered our questions about Ketchikan as he drove us out to the seaplane base were we met Ryan our guide and pilot. We took off for some bear watching and aerial tour of Misty Fjord National Monument. Ryan was a great guide and story... More

I booked this on my own when we went on a cruise. Great small professional company. Safety minded with experienced pilots. There was a delay in starting the tour because a pilot had gotten sick. We were given a complimentary city tour while we waited for the next scheduled tour. I had wanted to tour the city anyway so that... More

This 1 hour seaplane ride into Misty Fjiords set us back $480, so you'll likely want to read some reviews before taking out a second mortgage to finance it. Freakin' Awesome is my review of this remarkable experience, and worth every penny. And this statement is coming from a cheapskate, so listen up. Misty Fjiords is like another planet, possibly... The sea plane ride was nice. We took a long boat ride watching mountains and jungles. Mountains covered with oak trees and other vegetation. Then we reached a place from where we had to board the plane. Plane is small, six seater. The pilot was trained. After we got into the plane it took off from water where it was floating.... More

We visited Ketchikan and were inundated with tourist offerings and aggressive touts. However, we lucked upon Alaska Seaplane Tours and decided to splurge on a sightseeing, bear watching floatplane adventure. I'm so glad we made this choice. The entire family, ages 9 to 75, really enjoyed the experience. My wife is a pilot and felt very comfortable with the credentials... More

We had many choices and we definitely made the right one. It was a perfect day to fly and the pilot seemed as enthused as us.Safe, beautiful and worth the $ !

My daughter and I arrived on a cruise ship in Ketchikan where we decided at the last minute to book a flight to see the bears, etc. at Neet's Bay. What a great experience from beginning to end! The owner actually flew us to Neet's Bay where we saw bears with the salmon. Everyone from the van driver to the... More
