I booked this tour well in advance of our cruise in July 2014. Found them on an internet search and was not disappointed. I could'nt find any tours from the ship that looked for brown bears and after calling they said that while not guaranteed they had always had pretty good luck. Our day was clear and very warm and... I've been to the top of Fuji in Japan, and dove wrecks in Guam. I've been to the Phillipines, Hawaii, Korea, the entire east coast of the US and more. I've done scuba tours, helicopter tours, hiked more trails than I can count. THIS WAS WITHOUT A DOUBT, the greatest experience I've ever had. All of these people that think... More

After researching on the internet, our party of 7 pre-booked our flight April 14, 2014 for the Prince of Wales Bear Viewing Adventure. Our flight was on July 27th, 2014. It was rainy and overcast but we were told the pilot would get us out of the weather which he eventually did. Those seated on the right side spotted one... More

Dear Jackie, Thank you so much for choosing our excursion and allowing us the chance to show you the best of the Alaskan wilderness and it’s bears. We are very proud of our family run seaplane service; unfortunately, the bears and the sunshine don't always corporate. With over 15 years and 16,000 hours of safe flying in Alaska, each and... We had a lovely clear day and the views were outstanding, but our pilot was not very friendly. We were given headsets so that we could hear what he was saying, but we had no way of communicating with the him, and if we did, we certainly were given no instruction on how. He did very little conversing with us... More

Seeing Alaska from a seaplane was rated the best excursion we booked by all six in our party. The pilot were experts. At no time did we not feel perfectly safe. The views were magnificent from above. Water landing in small planes is much gentler than on land. Our pilot set down and taxied to a gorgeous area nestled in... More

Unfortunately, it was too misty for the advertised tour, but the improvised seaplane tour was still excellent, and we did see a bear. The pilot, Trevor, was excellent company and an excellent pilot.

We booked this tour directly with Marty on a recommendation from our fishing guide. This is a local company with local people. Marty set up the 2 hour tour and Trevor was our pilot. Trevor called 30 minutes before departure to make sure we were we ready, picked us up on time and helped with a few photos before we... More

I had prebooked this tour (Bear watch) thru advice on a coworker. I had initially planned on doing similar trip thru cruiseline but decided on this trip after talking my coworker. Met Marty downtown Ketchikan along with 4 others (2 couples). As he drove us back to where plane was he explained a little bit about the town. After arriving... More

Van met us at pier and drove us to plane, explaining a little about town on the way. We were a group of 6 on this tour. Eric was our captain today. Only complaint was - he never told us to put on our headsets and he was commenting on the way to the lake and we never knew this.... More

We had pre-booked this excursion directly with this outfit. They were ready for us when we pulled into port. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. My concern had been the make up of our group, 3 generations, ranging from 84 to 17, and one D1 football player. They made sure we had the plane to ourselves and that my son had... More
