Head out to Ward for a lovely trail walk. Hope for a sunny day! South on the road go to Rotary -Buggy Beach. Interesting stones/ rocks. Herring Cove will have salmon and bears.

We rented motorcycles (Panhandle Motorcycle Adventures) and did a trip around the island - actually, back and forth since there is no "around". The lake in the interior is worth a gander. Whats not to like, Revillagigedo is a fun place to live. we got Fishing, hiking, hunting, kayaking, bush planes, zip lines, motorcycle and bike and SUV rentals, We got it all but snow lol. RAINCITY!!!

Small friendly town, but too many bars and liquor stores for my taste, and too much alcohol being consumed for it's own good, unfortunately! Alaska has the highest per capita consumption of alcohol. Most people either visit Ketchikan only when their cruise ship stops there, or go to take advantage of the salmon and halibut fishing opportunities.
