took this excursion off our Holland America cruise. It was well worth the money. the pilot was friendly and informative, and handled the airplane well. We were not scared and enjoyed the amazing scenery. We landed in a mountain lake and got out on the dock to take pictures. We saw many waterfalls and a few mountain goats. Would definitely... More

The excursion that was listed to occur with Shore Trips did not meet its outline. There was no commentary, there was no 2 way voice system on the Seaplane I was on. Not what i paid for. Tried getting in touch with Shore Trips to tell of my experience but get no response in return. Very poor customer service if... More

We had a very clear and warm day for our ride over the fjords. We stopped for a crab dinner, which was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Very much worth the cost. Would do it again.

What a beautiful wilderness area. Something like 2 million acres set aside by the government to remain natural and unbuilt with no roads. Only way to see is by foot, by boat or by air.

I've sailed through Misty Fjords several times and have taken a float plane tour once. It's beautiful, with lots of waterfalls and great scenery. On the float plane trip they landed and pulled the plane onto a small island. The lack of sound from planes and other things related to civilization was amazing. I also took a bear viewing trip... I only viewed this serene location from my cabin balcony but the scenery is breathtaking. This was the only time on my Alaskan cruise that I was actually cold. I plan on returning this summer and will book an excursion to explore the fjords close up.

We paid some 200$/person for visiting this place via a boat but this place wasn't worth that much bucks. The place is overhyped.. We did not find anything extra ordinary. It is just a foggy places surrounded by mountains and few waterfalls. One can definitely skip this place.

On our stop in Ketchikan during an Alaskan cruise, we booked the Misty Fjords and Floatplane adventure to see Misty Fjords National Monument -- and we had a wonderful time! We set out in our adventure by boarding a high speed boat through Misty Fjords out through picturesque Rudyerd Bay, viewing granite cliffs, towering waterfalls and snow-capped mountains. We even... We flew through Misty Fjords National Monument on a Flight Seeing Tour. What a beautiful and almost untouched piece of the world. Cant wait to go back in a couple years
