Clean, green and beautiful. Go with Allen Marine ! See post under Allen Marine Tours. We've done repeated tours to this area. You get lots of water, boat time, and binocular worthy sights. Great for those interested in seeing unspoiled areas. Not great for spoiled children disinterested in seeing everything.

We viewed this beautiful landscape via float plane with Taquan Air. We had a beautiful sunny day, and enjoyed every second of it! We flew around the monument, then landed on a lake, then took off again. Wonderful experience! A must if you are a visitor to Ketchikan!

What an amazing trip! Booked air trip with Seawind Aviation for our family of 7. Rolf, our pilot was an incredible guide and went above and beyond to make sure our entire family experienced the trip of a lifetime. Leslie (co owner) with Steve and staff were fantastic too! Book with Seawind!

Misty Fjords National Monument is vast, remote, and pure wilderness.. What really surprises me is National Park services haven't tried building cabins and hiking trails around this area... There are various ways to explore this area and all of them including it's magical misty moments are dependent on weather.. The reason this place is called Misty is because of highest... More

The Misty Fjord and Monument Tour was booked through Allen Marine Tours. It was a very beautiful and picturesque 4 1/2 hour trip on a large "cat" boat with 2 inside levels to view and a large outside viewing deck! On board was a naturalist to point out animals (eagles, star fish both red and purple and porpoise) and vegetation... More

I was lucky enough to have a sunny warm day. I took a flight tour out of Ketchikan (Island Wings) and loved every moment of it!

I took the sea plane excursion to Misty Fjords with Taquan Air and it was literally one of the best travel experiences of my life. I loved the little de Havilland Beaver and the Fjords were like something out of a fantasy novel. The mist made it seem unreal, and landing in the fjord to look for bears on shore,... More

Seeing the Misty Fjords was beautiful and sirene. It was a long boat ride to Misty Fjords from Ketchikan but once you get there is is quite, calm waters, and beautiful scenery.
