Come aboard the "Aleutian Ballad" crabbing vessel as seen on season 2 of the Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch". Depart Ketchikan Alaska for a 3 hour trip to catch king crab, snow crab, octopus, fish, prawns and more. This tour also features some of the best eagle viewing on the planet. Share the allure and adventure that draw fishermen to the sea. Fishing legends that have worked the Bering Sea are your guides, some you may have seen on TV. The vessel has been retrofitted for guests comfort and fun, with a "live" tank on deck to allow for closer viewing of the wondrous creatures brought on board. Guests stay warm, dry and comfortable while we sail calm and protected waters. This is the REAL ALASKA and you won't want to miss it!

Did this from an Alaska cruise. I hate small boats so was really nervous - but this was brilliant. Felt super safe. The crew were great and the tour was really interesting! Crew stories were great and you get to appreciate what they have to endure at sea. Best bit for me was when they put bait over the side... More

Best tour ever. Action packed. The captain stories were very interesting. They went out of their way to make us feel a part of their fishing family

My husband and I did this excursion while in Ketchikan during our Alaskan cruise. It was such a fun day. The best part is the crew. They are experienced professional fisherman and have lots of cool stories to tell. It is an interactive excursion which we enjoyed. You don't have to be a fan of the show or a fishing... More

This was a real boat from the Deadliest Catch TV program. They took us around to see the various kinds of fish/seafood they catch. It was very interesting and interactive. It was raining but they were prepared with extra ponchos and heaters. We saw lots of other wildlife too like eagles and sea lions.

We had an absolute blast on this tour! The bald eagles were breathtaking! We got to hold many different species of crab. Each and every crew member was very knowledgeable and fun!!! Thank you so much all the way from Mississippi!

The trip is narrated by men that lived the experiences of crab fisherman. These were not just college students working the summer. Their knowledge and experiences were first hand. We saw over a hundred bald eagles diving for fish around the boat, octopus, crabs (big ones) and various fish. Well worth the price.

Show and tell for the whole family. Between the fish tales and the hands on show of the marine life pulled up from the depths, this was one of my favorite excursions. The fishermen are interesting and they pull up several different kinds of pots. We got to see king crab, box crabs, prawns the size of lobsters and even... More
