What a great adventure !!! We boarded one of the former Deadliest Catch boats in Ketchikan. This was the boat that had previously capsized in the Bering Sea. Fortunately, it had been totally restored and outfitted for crab tours. The crew onboard were so knowledgeable and entertaining. First, we visited the area where bald eagles habitated. There were nests to... more

I would highly recommend this tour, especially with kids. Our 10 and 13 year olds loved it and didn't even realize how much they were learning while having fun. more

I read tons of reviews on this tour and was really looking forward to it. In fact, I had to talk my husband into going! The boat and the crew were super nice and friendly and and all was going well. Then they started bringing in the catch. OK. This is what it is all about right? Fish and other... more

There were 4 of us that took this tour while on a cruise. The crew are all a class act; extremely accommodating and friendly. We could tell that they spoke from the heart and we enjoyed that this wasn't a "canned" speech tour. Everything was so interesting and we enjoyed the photo ops and being able to touch some of... more

This tour was well worth the money, especially if you are a Deadliest Catch fan. It was so much fun, and it was thrilling to see the crew launch the crab pots and hear about all their experiences on the Bering Sea. This tour was very professionally run. The staff was wonderful and treated every visitor like family. This was... more

I convinced my two grown children that this was one of the few tour excursions we didn't want to miss and I'm happy to say that none of us were disappointed. The tour was the best we did in 19 days in Alaska due, in large part, to the experiences and openness shared unstintingly by the three men of the... more

And many many thanks to Capt. Dave, Dan and Kiwi for making this tour wheelchair- and scooter-accessible! If you are cruising with a wheelchair or scooter, this is a wonderful choice for a "shore excursion". It was absolutely the highpoint of our Alaska cruise. more

I have to admit, I am a Deadliest Catch fanatic. So when I saw this tour and the great reviews, I did not think twice about booking. It was so much fun. It happened to be raining that day, but that did not dampen the enthusiasm of the fisherman who were so personable and fun to watch. Just read the... more

My wife and I took an Alaskan cruise from Vancouver to Whittier as well as the land tour portion from Whittier to Fairbanks (May 18 - May 31). Ketchikan, AK was our first port of call. The excursion lasted all day long so it was the only thing that we got to do other than walking around town before and... more

I can't really add any detail of this excursion that hasn't already been written. I just want to second what has been said about how wonderful this tour is. The captain and crew go all-out to make sure everyone has a great time, and really make the Bering Sea crab fishing business come to life. I cannot recommend this tour... more
