We did the 3 hour guided kayaking tour to Tonsina Beach. The location is beautiful even on an overcast day. We did not stay at the campground but everyone we encountered was very nice. Yes they are crowded but this is summer and you're in Alaska... The guides were very friendly and entertaining. We saw pink salmon, wresting dog salmon,... More

First trip to Seward for a halibut charter. Stayed in their basic RV park right on the beach; views are spectacular, but can be very exposed in windy conditions. Great beaches in both directions for off-leash dog walking at low tide. The halibut charter was a disaster with Captain Dustin. Six customers on the boat caught only 3 halibut on... More

We went fishing with Captain Chance and Deckhand Jeremy for 2 days. We had an absolutely awesome time!! The fishing was good and the total experience was even better. Chance knows how to put you on fish and Jeremy was very helpful and entertaining. I've been on several charters in Alaska, but this was the best. We couldn't have asked... More

Historic Miller's Landing is easily accessible by road as you drive South out of Seward. We took a drive there past some great views of Resurrection Bay. The town has an earthy, crunchy feel but with some stunning scenery. By the the Caines Head State Park area of Miller's Landing we saw several bald eagles flying around near the sea.... More

The Real Deal in Fishing Charters! They Do Half Days! Not at the top of the list in the tourist magazine, we're so glad we just kept searching for some operation that would take us our for only a half day. This great group of experts do it all and gave us a fantastic day, thanks! Having never fished from... More

They are not very good about listening to the size of the vehicle you have and if you are too big for where they put you they do not seem to care. The only other problem was it was very busy, but everyone was considerate of others.

The scenery is five stars. The road to Miller's Landing -- potholes everywhere. Fiasco with making one of the three rigs move twice in one day and compounding the problem by making us wait and wait to be instructed where to move. As a result, five people from three rigs missed our planned activity in town. The rig told to... More

My husband and I did the Bridal Falls Kayak trip in August. We got a 2 for 1 deal with Groupons so this made it even better. Resurrection Bay is beautiful and it was really lovely to be Kayaking across the bay in the early morning. There were 11 of us with varying degrees of experience. Now I dont consider... More

To be fair the weather was rainy and windy. If the weather was better I am sure I'd have a better feeling about our stay here. We felt very exposed to the harsh elements - perhaps this is what you maya be looking for.

We arrived here looking to stay for a weekend and go halibut fishing in our boat. We were greeted with a 55.00 boat launch fee and our campsite was filthy from the previous campers. We opted to relocate to a campground in town and used the paved launch with docks, just $5.00, and a great little bait and tackle shop... More
