Capt. Jason and AJ promised whales and they sure delivered. We were lucky and had a great weather day. Comfortable boat the was not overcrowded with us tourists. We saw a group of whales "bubble feeding" a couple of times and two whales doing a double breach which was awesome! Both Jason and AJ were as excited as us.

These folks provided an excellent sightseeing experience of the Juneau area. They provided for me to visit Mendenhall Glacier, go whale watching, and take a trolley tour through the city of Juneau. I would especially like to give a shout out to Brendan for being such an excellent guide! This was an experience worth remembering and talking about with friends.

We took one of several whale watching tours from the dock in Juneau (ours was through Juneau Tours, and we loved their operation through and through). We saw some whales and, even though they did not breach, it was an exciting and wonderful experience for me and my family. In truth, I get the sense that it was a mediocre... More

We have previously enjoyed whale watches in Iceland and New Zealand but this trip beat the lot. The boat was not crowded and there was plenty of room for everyone. We saw lots of whales close up as well as sea lions and seals. The crew know their stuff and were always on hand to answer any queries we had.... More

At first I got kinda roped into going whale watching, but it turned out amazing! We saw around 12 humpbacks bubble feeding together and it was honestly the most fantastic thing I've ever seen! Our guide (Brendan) was super nice and really into whale watching. He was excited about seeing the bubble feeding but also very informative. Overall it was... More

My friend and I had the pleasure of going in search of whales with Juneau Whale Watch while visiting the city, and we had a MARVELOUS time! We chose the combination tour of whale-watching and Mendenhall Glacier, which was a perfect trip in length and experience for the price we paid. The crew were all wonderful--from John, who drove us... More

We booked this tour thru Royal Caribbean and it DID NOT disappoint! We took the tour on July 7th when the weather in Juneau was amazing and unseasonably hot from what we were told. The bus ride to the marina was very interesting, our driver had both historical information and random fun facts (Thank you Debbie!) The catamaran was pretty... More

Very good whale watching trip. From the time we were picked up and taken to the whale watching pier - the experience was good. The bus stopped for us to view the Medhanhall glacier. The boat captain Nick was good- smooth boat ride and we saw about a dozen whales. He did not rush us and gave us ample time... More

Our whale watch was amazing. We saw bald eagles, seals and seal lions, and a pod of humpbacks "bubble feeding." When all eight (at least) breached together, it was overwhelming. What magnificent mammals; what a treat to see them so close, so collaborative, and so busy. Our boat then took us to a "salmon roast" on an island. Beautiful setting... More
