Jon and Rachel were awesome. They found us loads of whales to see. Even got to see a young whale spy hopping and frolicking like a teenager. Pretty cool. Saw a haul out of steller sea lions. One of the bulls had huge killer whale teeth mark scars down one side! Learned so much about whales today. Great trip, thanks... More

We got to see several sightings of adult whales but the best part was the baby whale we saw. The baby played around flopping and trying its hardest to raise its fin. The baby got within 10 feet of our ship, you could see the barnacles on its head! We named the baby Bella. Very knowledgeable captain Ryan and first... More

Our cruise was may 16 -23 on NCL Jewel. A big thank you for a great time. We saw so much. We booked direct and they knew how much time we had and when to get us back so not to miss our cruise ship. I am hoping to publish a youtube vid to your facebook page too. www.facebook.com/JuneauToursAndWhaleWatching/timeline

Juneau Tours took all 17 of us to Mendenhall Glacier and then took us to Juneau Whale Watch where Cap'n Jon and Amanda had us all looking at Humpback Whales within 10 minutes of leaving the dock. They had snacks and drinks on board. The kids loved it and it was a highlight of the trip. When we go back... More

I want say huge thanks to Captain Dirk for giving me chance to see so many humpback whales through radio communication with other tour companies and huge thanks to Chelsea for sharing her knowledge with us. Not sure how many we saw in total but the last pair a mum and her calf was amazing watching the calf play and... More

Had a fantastic time out on the jet boat. Wasn't expecting to see anything as these are after all wild animals, Capt Dirk made sure that we were all safe on the boat and Chelsea's knowledge and assistance with whale spotting and taking photos was superb. Would definitely recommend this trip, we saw Orca's and Humpbacks and even if we... More

We all know that whales are large but it takes seeing them up close to appreciate just how fab and magnificent they are. Find a small boat, not a large one and you will see much more.

Hi, we went on a cruise in Sept,2014. We used M&M Excursions (they are local). We had the best experience. The boat was a 14 passenger boat. Much more intimate setting compared to the 40 passenger boat the cruise line offered. Our pilots were the best in their knowledge of the whales. I would highly suggest using this company. We...
