Even after we saw a few whales from a distance, Capt. Bryan & Amanda continued to look for even better encounters with the whales. Our very close encounter with two humpbacks that approached the boat was a great highlight of our entire Alaskan cruise. Definitely the most exciting time! This was a great experience and our hosts went the extra... More

We loved that we were a group of ten on this boat that holds twelve. Very personalized and informative. They went out of their way to show us a great time and lots of whales. Including killer whales and their babies!

My husband loves to take pictures so we were looking for a whale watching tour that he could get some great shots.........this is hands down the best tour. There are several boats that operate out of the same area this is a smaller boat and costs about the same as the other tours. Smaller boat means less crowded and a... More

We participated in this tour while on an Alaskan cruise. Booked directly - cheaper. Boarded a bus to the Mendenhall Glacier - bit of a walk from the bus stop to the glacier - many buses pulled past our stop right up to the visitor center - I wasn't too happy about that and hauled myself over using my walker.... we have recently experienced this wonderful trip, it was a trip not to be missed as we saw plenty of Seals and Whales.even the Staff were genuinely exited to see the Whales breaching as often as they were, well worth the money Friendly Staff and mindful of safety at sea

The key to enjoying Juneau weather is to dress in layers in the spring, summer, fall and winter. Use a shirt as a first layer, a sweatshirt for a second layer, and top it all off with a waterproof jacket. But don't forget shorts or short-sleeve shirts for those warm days -- we have those, too.

Our group of 10 Aussies did the early morning whale watching tour with Steve and Jami and wow was this great fun. There was close to 20 hump back whales out in the bay on that morning and we had 2 hours just watching them swimming and eating. So much fun. Steve and Jami are an asset to this business.... More

Captain Steve and naturalist Jami were simply the best crew we've had on our many whale watching trips around the world. It was raining the day we were in Juneau but Jami certainly didn't let it dampen the spirits of the largely British tourists who were on the boat for the trip. She and Steve worked so hard to find... I have whale watched multiple times in Maui but this was a unique experience. We were in a climate controlled cabin and binoculars were provided. The friends I traveled with had never been whale watching so it was especially exciting for them. The crew was actually taking pictures and were excited about the amount of whale activity. The crew would... More
