Description: The tour starts with a 10 minute jet boat ride across Gastineau Channel...
The tour starts with a 10 minute jet boat ride across Gastineau Channel. At the beach you meet you guides and they will escort you up to the outfitting shelter for a thorough orientation. After getting geared up and loaded onto our Mercedes Benz Unimog you will ride up the mountain to the top of the course. There is a short up-hill hike to the first platform from which you will descend through the trees and over the ruins of the Treadwell Gold Mine. There are 10 ziplines, 2 suspension bridges and you finish the course with a 42 foot rappel returning to ground near the outfitting shelter. Before you get back on the boat, we have a small shop where you can purchase an action photo from the last zipline or a t-shirt or sweatshirt to remember your excursion. The tour last a total of 3 hours and 15 minutes. Come fly through trees with us!

A great crew, great fun, and cannot beat the views zipping through the Alaskan Rain Forest! Must Do when in Juneau!

I booked a tour with Alaska Canopy Adventures on my own rather than through the cruise ship so I could select the times that would work for us. My son (21), daughter (19) and I went zip-lining with Kathryn and Gabby in mid-August. My son has been zip-lining before and was fearless. My daughter and I were a little more... More

As first time zip-liners, we chose to do this as a side trip on a Holland American Alaskan cruise from Seward to Vancouver. Do yourself a favour and look at booking it on line in advance and not through the cruise ship, as I suspect it might be cheaper - I don't know for sure - we left it late... More

Did this back in July 2012, guided by Prescott and AJ. They were very thorough and always ensure that safety their first priority. The course was so much fun and zip lining through the tree tops of the Tongass National Rainforest is something that I will never forget. A must do if you visit Alaska!

MUST DO THIS. A group of six of us went and I was the only one nervous (afraid) of heights. Our guides Gabi and Kathryn made the experience absolutely incredible for me and the zips were stunning. From the moment we were picked up off the boat, to the moment we stepped food back on the dock this company got... More

What does 186 feet up and 35 mph on a cable mean? NERVOUS at least until you experience it with these folks. Yes, it did seem a bit much at first but wow was it fun. My wife and I had never done anything like this before. We had a blast. Now looking for a zip line that is longer... More

Was on my 4th Alaskan cruise and had been to Juneau before and had zip-lined before, but my friend never had and it was a must on her bucket list. There were a number of choices offered through the cruise line in various ports, but I settled on Alaska Canopy Adventures for a few reasons: it included not 1 but... More

The medal ceremony is a pretty cool part of our tour. It is fun to see people face a challenge and overcome it. Thanks for sharing and we love seeing you picture. More

We had a great time on this zip line experience! Me, my wife and two boys (12 & 14) really enjoyed this experience! Instructors/guides (Kathryn and Mariah) were both funny and knowledgable. Kept us safe but very light and fun. Beautiful scenery two as we zipped over old gold mine and through the trees. Tons o' fun! Highly recommend this!

This was so fun and even though I was a little nervous at first it was obvious that guest safety was high on their priority list. Mitchell and Avery made the experience fun and were very professional. The boat ride, the unimog ride and the zip line itself were all great. I highly recommend this excursion, no matter what you... It is so great to hear from you! Thank you for sharing about your experience. Safety is definitely our top priority. The handle bars that we added this season have been a huge success. We hope to see you again in the future. More
