Went whale watching today with Shel and Richie on the Islander, they were a great source of information. And we got to see a mama whale training her baby. It was simply amazing. Saw sea lions, eagles and the glacier too. Would totally recommend to anyone and will do again when we come back. Thank you for the hospitality! Liz... More

The staff is knowledgeable about the whale locations and communicate with other vessels on whale spotting to assure best whale locations are viewed...extremely more pleasant viewing from a smaller vessel with fewer people that ship provided excursions with hundreds of folks all fighting for a viewing/picture taking position...staff was very friendly and courteous...would do it again...would highly recommend it to... I booked their Whale watch and flight seeing tour from the Holland cruise line. We arrived people everywhere at the dock very confusing for all. Looked for the bright orange jacket as they had in their meeting instructions. Not there fault but certainly they do this for a living and would know that all the tour guides are wearing bright... We loved watching whales and it seems like you can pretty much count on seeing some. The bears are a different story. We drove around for three hours looking for bears. After an hour or so, you lose interest/excitement. The guides were great though. The bear guide was as excited as if it was her first trip! The whale guide... More

I live in a place that has whale watching and in fact whales can be seen at times from the coastline a few miles away, so giving this company five stars is meaningful. The captain and crew answered all our questions and did their best to give us a great view of a pod of whales bubble netting. It was... More

We had a wonderful whale watching trip with Captain Monroe. It was a small boat so it did not feel like one of those huge boats that seem to chase the whales. Captain Monroe was patient and respectful of the whales. We watched one whale doing what he called, "logging" or sleeping, and then spotted 8 more whales over the... More

Our group (six) had a wonderful experience with Alaska Galore Tours. The whale tour was especially entertaining and we saw five or six Humpbacks plus two logging (sleeping). The boat operator (Munroe) was knowledgeable, funny and very accommodating. His expertise enabled us to get great photo's. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

We were on an Alaskan cruise and, though we live on one of BC's Gulf Islands and often see Orcas on our ferry trips, we chose this as one of our excursions. It totally exceeded our expectations! There were only 5 of us a small boat. Captain Munroe was both knowledgeable and respectful of the humpback whales. By being patient,... More

My family of four agreed that this was our favorite part of our Alaska Cruise! The process was smooth from the beginning, when booking our tour via email, all the way until the end! We had no trouble finding Alaska Galore from our cruise ship and we were dropped off at Mendenhall Glacier afterwards! The bus ride to Auke Bay... More

We are so glad to hear your experience was memorable from start to finish. It is very important to us that guests have a once in a lifetime experience on our tour. Bubble net feeding is one of the coolest things to see but the pod of orcas with a baby is just phenomenal. We are thrilled that we got... More
