Best excursion in Alaska. It was a beautiful sunny day. Helicopter ride was fantastic. When we landed, the scenery took my breath away. I always wanted to dog sled and I had my fantasy fulfilled. Worth every penny of the price.

My family of 4 booked this trip off a Princess Cruise ship - 2 kids, 2 adults. We took a Temsco helicoptor up into the amazing skies and saw the gorgeous landscape of the glacier. We landed by the dog park and had a fabulous experience dog sledding across this amazing topography! After, we played with the new puppies and... More

We booked this through Princess Cruises based on a friends recommendation and we were so impressed! We were picked up from the waiting area near the ship and taken to the helicopter base, have a quick briefing, get your gear (snow boots etc) and a helicopter ride to the Glacier. Had the best views and all staff were very friendly.... More

Booking nearly 15 month's in advance (on Celebrity Cruises) we had plenty of time to review all the possible execursions. Our glacier dog sledding experience was a highlight of our trip to Alaska! We took a helicopter from Juneau to the Mendenhall Glacier. The helicopter ride was short, but stunning. When we got to the glacier, we had on winter gear, but the weather was pleasant. We didn't wear any winter hats and our jackets were open. There were four... More

Our helicopter ride to Mendenhall Glacier provided safe, yet spectacular views. Upon arriving to the summer dog camp there on the glacier, we had an incredible experience! The staff, the dogs, the pups!!! Once in a lifetime kind of afternoon! This excursion would be great for ANY age if physically able!!!

Firstly, they pick you up in your hotel/cruiseship to their helicopter base. After a briefing, you fly in on of the helicopters to the glaciers (the views are breathtaking). Once you.ve landed, you ride the sled and have time to play with the dogs.... It is one of those "once in a life time experience". If you visit Juneau, don't... More

After days of seeing glaciers from an Alaskan cruise, we got to take a helicopter up to a valley where four glaciers came together on the Mendenhall Glacier. The helicopter ride over the top of the glacier would have been great, but landing on it and taking a dogsled around the basin was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The pilots were very... More

Went on this tour last week with my family of six. We had a wonderful tour and really enjoyed the dog sledding. We were there on a warm day. The views were spectacular and the dog sledding was lots of fun. While the excursion was expensive I figured that this would be worthwhile. You only live once. Go for it

I loved my trip to Mendenhall Glacier via helicopter from Temsco. It was the most memorable event of our 5 day stay in Juneau. The views were absolutely wonderful. We had a very clear day and a smooth ride up to the Glacier. Once we landed on top of the glacier, I was completely mesmerized by the beautiful scenery in... More
