Description: Featuring Iditarod and Yukon Quest Athletes, Alaska Icefield Expeditions...

OK, so I have written many good reviews but this one place probably changed my life forever. OK so I love animals already and a glacier visit was on my list but this was simply incredible. Yeah its expensive but so is everything in Alaska and now that I have been with my Guide and now friend Keith on top... More

My husband and I booked our Mendenhall Helicopter Ride and Dog Sledding Excursion through our cruise line. We might have paid a little more than what's desirable but we had an absolute amazing time. So many times was I lost in the beautiful sights that I would forget to take pictures. The excursion began with a bus ride to the... More

This tour was the highlight of my Alaskan holiday! After arriving in Juneau, it was a quick helicopter ride to the glacier and the dog teams. The helicopter flight has such awe inspiring and picturesque views that you won't know where to look and your fingers will be sore from clicking photos. When I was on the glacier, I found... More

天气好的话,这是最好的选择! On 21Aug, We were picked up from the Holland American Oosterdam Cruise and taken to the heliport. The helicopter ride up over the massive Mendenhall Glacier. The views from the helicopter were spectacular. Pilot said it was the best day of this season! We were so lucky. It was joy to look down and see the exciting barking doges... More

This is a lifetime experience.Stunning views of the lake and glacier from the helicopter .Visibility at the glacier wasn't the best so we landed down it a bit and were collected by a snowmobile that accommodated 8 or 9 of us for a fun bumpy ride. Sledding with the husky's on a glacier is an amazing and unforgettable experience.

I agree with all the reviewers about this wonderful trip, so it's tough to add anything that others haven't already mentioned. Yeah, it's expensive but not unreasonably so. I'm a pilot myself and I know what it costs to operate and maintain helicopters. Here's a suggestion; no guarantee it'll lower the cost but it'll be worth your time in a... More

This experience is a must when traveling to Juneau Alaska. If dog sledding is not on your bucket list, than add it to the TOP! First off, yes, it is expensive BUT so worth the experience not too mention the views! Did I mention the views.......... (see photos) The helicopter ride was smooth and the trip has stunning views of... More

I toured with this company while in Juneau this August. It was one of the best excursions I ever took. We took the helicopter up to Mendenhall Glacier - about a 15 minute ride - and landed on the glacier where we took the dog sledding for about 45 minutes with 4 to a sled. A suggestion I would make... My family and I took the helicopter ride (Temsco) to the top of the glacier. The views are fantastic. Once at the sled camp they are happy to answer any questions you may have. They load you up on a sled with one of the mushers and you're off doing a loop at the top of the glacier. You learn... More

The helicopter/dog sled tour in Juneau was a keenly anticipated highlight on our APT 22 day Canadian Rockies/Alaska cruise tour, and we were not disappointed. We were blessed by a remarkably sunny clear day, and the whole tour was characterised by friendly staff, starting with timely departure from our cruise ship/wharf pick up, "processing" at the helicopter base, and marvellous...
