I went to the Denver Glacier in Skagway back in 2000 something. It was my first time being in a helicopter and going to a glacier and doing anything remotely like this. The ride up was amazing and the views, oh the views! It was stunning. Once we were on the glacier, I couldn't believe what I saw. Snow everywhere... More

Travelling through Canada and Alaska via ship, train and coach. This is an absolute must to add to your wish list! A fantastic way to see the beautiful scenery of Alaska and meet a multitude of friendly people. We chose April because we wanted to see the snow on the mountains as we snaked our way through this vast area... More

This was an expensive tour we decided to treat ourselves to. It was well worth it. They out six people in the helicopter you are placed according to your weight. We went with another couple so they kept us together. I was lucky enough to be up front next to the pilot. The view was good throughout the helicopter. They... More

We took the helicopter tour to the glaciers and it was amazing. I would highly recommend this adventure ! there were four couples and it was one of the highlights of our trip. It is very expensive, but we felt very worthwhile and a great experience. They distribute you between helicopters according to your weight, so two of our couples... More

Sorry couldn't help notice Ruth M's review and ridiculous flag statement. Trust me the breath of fresh air you will experience occurs as soon as you step foot from an exhilarating helicopter flight. Myself and my wife did several excursions during our Alaska cruise which we thoroughly enjoyed however this stood out as a never to be forgotten experience. Left... More

Without a doubt, this was the most exciting Activity that I did during my two weeks in Alaska! Landing the helicopter on the glacier, then riding a sled pulled by retired & young Iditarod dogs was absolutely amazing! Though it was expensive, it was worth every penny!

Most beautiful snow white scenery I've ever experience. Able to interact with the glacier folks and also the dogs. It snowed the whole time we dog sled. The US Flag was a breath of fresh air in the middle of all this whiteness

This was so memorable on our honeymoon last July that my profile photo is me standing on the glacier with my Bahamian flag. Pilot said it was the hottest he had ever known it up there, ice was melting under our boots - took our weather with us, as Jimmy Buffett says in his song!! Friends went on same cruise... More

Wonderful view for mountains. Juneau offers a wide selection of Native art shopping. Cruises to Juneau show you the most beautiful views, with options for once-in-a-lifetime shore excursions that include walking on glaciers, whale watching, and hikes through the country’s last old growth forests. Family friendly destination. We very enjoyed the round cruise trip from Seattle to Skagway with NCL... More
