Our family had a fantastic experience on our dog sled tour. All of us enjoyed listening to James speak about his experience training the dogs and racing in the Iditarod. Holding the baby huskies was the highlight of my kids vacation. We had rain during our visit, but this did not take away from our experience.

This was a great tour, but a bit pricey. If you love dogs then it is totally worth it. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. You can see the dogs, pet the dogs and hold the puppies. It was amazing to see 13 dogs pull a 600lb wheeled sled with 8 people in it and pull it pretty fast. To... More

This is a great experience for the whole family, You get to learn about the dogs and their breed - Alaskan Huskies, as well as the history of dog sledding, how they race, as well as the experience of being pulled by a team. These dogs are amazing, and all they want to do is pull the sled. Oh, and... More

Matt was a great tour guide into the world of dog sledding. He has run the Iditarod before and his tour talk really made you understand how hard it is. The dogs were great and really live to run.

I wanted to see the dogs and hold the puppies without helicoptering out to Mendenhall Glacier. This was so educational and fun. Our guide, Maliko, races part of the Yukon Challenge, and she was so enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and excited to share. We got a great understanding of the history of sleds and dogs - they do not use the Siberian... More

What a wonderful experience. Maliko was the tour guide, and she was interesting, informative, and very friendly. This was an optional excursion on our Princess Cruise. We had a fun, 1 mile ride, a tour of the facility, was told lots of information about the dogs, held the puppies, and saw the exhibit. We did a different dog sled tour... More

My family and I had a wonderful time with this attraction in Juneau. You take a ride up a mountain to get to Dog Camp. The views are pretty cool from the ride. Then once you get there and see dog camp, it is even better. It is so remote and beautiful. There are rushing waterfalls in the background and... More
