John Bax was our guide for whale watching and a hike to Mendinhall glacier I believe it was the 18 th of May he did not disappoint. He knew each whale by its fluke. He knew every plant and liken on our hike and what it's purpose was. We wanted to hire him to travel with us for our entire... More

Our guide, Kellie Nightlinger filled us with interesting and knowledgeable details for survival in the forest. She also showed us several plants that offer food and one that is medicinal. In addition, Kellie explained the interconnectedness of the glaciers and the formation of food stuffs from their melting as well as the Salmon contribution to the cycle of life. Kellie... More

Our Juneau excursion was all that and more, it truly exceed expectations for an Alaska adventure. We selected the Whales, Glaciers and Rainforest trails hoping to learn about each, and we definitely learned and were exposed to the best of each. Gastineau Guiding was the operator of this tour and their representative Molly provided the narration, guidance and background with... More

Molly Fox was our guide. We were so blessed to have a resident Alaskan sharing her stories and knowledge. We felt we helped gather needed data and saw mother and baby humpbacks, sea lion, porpoise, eagles galore and had a GREAT time doing it. Very comfortable, easy, laid back excersion so don't miss it if you're a single looking for... More

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Alaska! We went on a walk through the forest which ended at a beautiful view of Mendenhall Glacier. Our guide and naturalist, Andy, was so much fun. Because it was a small group, he was able to help all of us with camera settings and pointed out good photo... More

Katy Bear, our guide for the whale watching tour was very professional - well, she did wear a silly hat - but very knowledgeable about what we were seeing. Boat was well maintained and easy to get around and see. Would definitely recommend.

This trip was one of the highlights of our Alaska trip. We have a couple beginner photographers so we took the photo safari. The boat was able to get in real close and we weren't crowded at all. The windows open wide for nice easy shots. We got plenty of photos of the whales and a lot of other animals.... More

Jordy is great! We had an awesome time on our hike today, the weather was perfect and the scenery even better. Ended up doing just over 6 miles, mostly easy but there are a lot of stairs if you do the east trail. Much more rewarding to work hard for the view near the visitors center!

We did the Mendenhall glacier and whale watching tour. The hike the glacier is pretty easy, not very hilly and lots of stops to talk about our surroundings. When you get to the end, there is a gorgeous view of the glacier. At the end of the hike, everyone was given a very nice snack bag and a water. The... More

My wife and I took the photo safari figuring they would take us to the best sites to take pictures. They gave lessons for beginner photographers while on the way to various sites. We did not need that, but the sites we were taken too where awesome. Great Humpback whale watching, eagles, harbor seals, Mendenhall Glacier, and more. They gave... More
