We arrived in Juneau and it was raining... so we desided to go to the brewery. Don't expect a Tour like in other places... they will bring you in one room and tell you the sory while you are drinking beer. The staff is phenomenal and we had such a good time... after the "tour" you can try beers more... More

This place is a fantastic example of the way a business should be run. Enthusiastic employees, a great product based on an uncompromising philosophy when it comes to quality, environmentally conscious, and an interesting history. If you're in Downtown Juneau, just stop in at the store. $20 will get you tour admission and a short, narrated ride about the area... More

We visit local Brewery's whenever we travel to new places. This one is great. Atmosphere classy and fun. Well set up and very nice selection of beer samples, for only $5.

I brought in a group of 12 to enjoy the brewing company. I was a little disappointed that we were not able to get a tour. I phoned the company several weeks prior to our visit with no return call. I still think that the facility is 4 stars because the folks were so welcoming and generous with their samples.... More

As others commented -- only $5 for a session describing their history and beer that includes three different beer samples then tokens for three more (your choice). If you have the time, take a cab for this "must visit" establishment. I only regret I can't get their beer in my State (Pennsylvanis) - all varieties are Outstanding! Buy a great... More

Did the tour and tastings; you get three free tastes, then a tour and three more tastes for $5, Alaskan Dollars which are oddly similar to US Dollars. The exchange rate is 1:1. Interesting startup brewery in the Capital city of Alaska and the way it was grown with volunteers paid in beer. I hear they sell jerky but it's... More

We visited while in port from our cruise with our young-adult children. Great tastings and fun souvenirs. Excellent knowledge about their brews and who might like which..

We took a taxi to the Alaskan Brewery after visiting the Mendenhall Glacier. It is a friendly little brewery in an industrial area. There is no food served there but luckily our taxi driver took us to a great local deli first. The brewery has delicious beers and they give out three 4 oz. tastings for free! After our free... Our cruise ship was docked for the day and we had decided to not book a pricey shore excursion. For $20, we caught the van out to the brewery and had a really informative and entertaining talk about beer. 6 decent samples later and I was ready for lunch. So glad we did this!

luckily our cruise stayed in Juneau for a long time so were able to fit in a 4 hour morning excursion and get back into town with time for lunch and then finish it off with a tour of the Alaskan brewery. It was very convenient that you can book tours from the store downtown and the van picks you... More
