For the price of a round trip van ride ($15.00), you get a van ride to the brewery, an oral history of the company (not really a brewery tour, but you can see the bottling area through a window), and all the Alaskan beer you can sample. Our driver, Ross, was a Juneau native and could answer any question you... More

This is one of the best brewery tours I've taken. They give history of owners and company start as well struggles they overcame to be a very sucessful brewery. All throughout the tour you get 5 ounce samples of their dozen or so types of beer. Feel good at the end. They provide a van ride to the brewery from... More

$12 takes you onto a van from the shop to the brewery for a quick tour and 5 tastings. 5 Tastings? Not one of the bartenders were keeping any count...I think I actually drank 10 tastings for a total of 40oz of cold delicious mouth watering beer. Good times!

I lucked into this tour as I walked through town. Since the cruise ships serve Alaskan beer, I had already become a fan. The town of Juneau was just like the other stops- touristy. So I walked into the Alaskan Brewery store to buy a shirt and learned I could catch a shuttle and do a brewery tour. I am... More

This isn't a brewery tour. You can see through to the brewery from "lecture" room, but you don't walk through. Our host was very well informed and enthusiastic. And they are very generous with their free tastings. And their beer is awesome!

In downtown Juneau the brewery shuttle can be caught for $15.00 from their store. They advertise outside the store so you can't miss the sign as well as collect the fee there too.We had a great informative shuttle driver who gave ua a lot of history not only about Juneau but the brewery itself.Once at the brewery you are given a... I found this little side trip on my own as I am a beer drinker and had tasted Alaskan Amber in Seattle prior to my Alaskan cruise that called on Juneau. Able to take a shuttle for $15 rt from the Alaskan Brewery store out to the brewery. That was the cheap part, my many wonderful purchases from the brewery... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and tasting all of the beers on tap. There is a well-stocked gift shop with a variety of items for sale to include clothes, magnets, glasses, cookbooks, signs and of course, beer! It's located out of town in an industrial area, but is well worth the trouble. Now if they would only sell their beer... More

brewery tours are usually tours of the facility. This was a van ride to brewery and then basically free samples....so would only recommend to beer drinkers, not for families

This was great fun and we learned a little history while we tasted several of the custom brews. By the time or young guide was done, we all wanted applications!
