The park warden gave a very informative talk and also took questions which was great. The movie was also done very well, especially the helicopter footage. Very easy to get around and it was great to feel an actual ice berg! More

Took a bus to the Mendenhall glacier and hiked to the waterfall. Could not believe how big the waterfall truly was. Absolutely took our breath away. We were foturnate to visit on a sunny day, so the view was magnificent. Would definately recommend everyone visit this glacier if you are ever in Juneau. More

Just spent the afternoon at the Mendenhall Glacier after a great whale watch. We happened to have a perfectly sunny day in the 50 degree range and when the sun was beating felt closer to 70. The only reason I don't call Mendenhall Glacier a must-see is that sometimes the weather makes it pretty miserable. Juneau is dense with great attractions and tours, including some that are fun regardless of the weather. Took a shuttle bus up tp see the glacier. What a sig.ht. totally different to all the glaciers that we have seen. By far the largest and most spectacular and most accessible. Not much else up there. Take the shuttle and spend only the hour between shuttle runs. Our round trip cost $16 each so it is a must see. More
