Rainbow Tours Homer, Alaska This crew was extremely helpful they really worked hard getting the gear prepped, helping every person on board, they cleaned every fish caught, and they were really cool people to fish with. It's not required or asked for but remember to tip your crew. I saw first hand a genuine hard working crew and they still... More

Went on this tour on a recent trip to Homer. It was literally a last minute decision. The tour was great. The captain and the crew were also great. We were fortunate enough to happen upon a pod of whales and the captain was more than happy to keep exploring so we could get some great views/pictures of the whales.... More

I wasn't sure what to expect so late in the season, but was looking for something to do with my mother. It was a sunny day with blue skies and I knew we would at least enjoy the scenery. We were greeted by a friendly crew and headed out into Kachemak Bay. Soon, a whale spout was spotted in the... More

While our weather was foggy the staff was sharp and smart. They stopped along the way to share the sea life, otters, and whales. Our trip and time in Seldovia was a great experience. I would highly recommend this to all visitors to Homer. We had trouble finding the office location. I'd recommend you find it the day before your... More

The wildlife tour was everything we expected it to be and, based on the other reviews, our expectations were pretty high. The staff were kind and helpful throughout the booking process. Despite the full boat, the crew was patient and spent time making sure my overly-enthusiastic 11-year-old girl understood the wildlife and encouraged her to look things up in the... More

We got the tour as a trip over to seldovia, not knowing that the way there would become an awesome whale watching experience. Killer whales, humpback whales, sea otters, puffins. Amazing experience. Seldovia is worth the trip in itself - we arrived the week before the chainsaw carving festival, and many houses had displays up already. Quiet town.

Very windy day so fishing wasn't great although, some on our tour did bring in Halibut. LOTS of passengers on the Sizzler. We were tangled due to the growing swells. Captain was conscientious of the deteriorating weather and made the call to go in, which was disappointing but we completely understood. We saw whales, birds, otters and great views of... More

We had the pleasure of taking the Sea Life tour from Homer to Seldovia on Sept. 30th with friends visiting from Illinois. Absolutely Fabulous. The all women crew were so professional, knowledgeable and just down right fun. We lucked out on the weather and saw everything to see, otters, sea lions, birds galore and tons of humpback whales. On the... More

We took the Nature Tour/Seldovia trip.I know seeing whales is just a matter of right place, right time, but we hit the jackpot. We saw many humpbacks: breaching, flipper slaps, feeding, etc. We also circled Gull Island. The three women crew members were wonderful. They knew some of us wanted to see birds, too, and they pointed out birds. They... More
