We went out on a half day halibut fishing charter. The captain and helper were great. They brought us to this location that as soon as you dropped your line.... The fish were on. Thanks for a great day!

The captain was rude, arrogant and disrespectful. At one point, he even threw his own garbage (soda can) into the water and shot it with a gun - and he wasn't shooting from the back of the boat either. It was the worst paid experience we ever have had with a fishing charter.

My Dad and I went on the wildlife watching cruise to Seldovia. It was a beautiful sunny day and there were lots of sea otters floating which was very cute. I was hoping to see puffins and we saw a few, the boat captain slowed down everytime they spotted wildlife so everyone could have a good look and get lots...

The female-crewed Rainbow Connection tour to Seldovia was a highlight of our visit to Homer. Victoria was a most gracious hostess, who gave a lot of personal attention to her passengers. Captain Monica slowed and steered the vessel often to give us the best vantage point to view and photograph wildlife. The price - $40 pp for seniors - was...

The all-female crew of The Rainbow Connection really knows their hospitality. All the ladies, Monica (captain), Victoria, and Camille, were knowledgeable about the Homer-Seldovia area, including Gull Rock, the various islands and formations on the way to Seldovia and Seldovia itself. Monica has catalogued the whales in Kachemak Bay, following over 400 whales, and she knows just what to look...

We went on a Rainbow tour to Seldovia. We picked them because the price was the best of the other charters in Homer. The staff were very knowledgable and really cared that we saw wildlife. They pointed out all of the things like puffins and sea otters that we really wanted to see and slowed the boat so we could...

Fun times! We went out on the a.m. charter on a beautiful clear morning! The sea was calm but it was pretty cold. Bundle up and take advantage of the tea, coffee and cider they provide! Would totally go back again!

We chose to travel to Seldovia by Rainbow Tours rather than the ferry because it allowed a visit to Gull Island which was quite interesting. Our guide was energetic and knowledgeable. The boat was not full and would be somewhat crowded if it was as it is small. The town of Seldovia was quite worth the visit. We did see...

We booked a half day trip. The guys on the boat showed us how to fish...we caught two halibut in 30 minutes....then just sat there and waited for everyone else to fish. I saw several boats circling this area. I thought their would be a little more effort required.....basically 3 hour trip (to and from) for 30 minutes of fishing....

We had a great time. The tour before you reach Seldovia was magnificent. The Captain and the tour guide made the trip so enjoyable.
We checked out other tours and Rainbow Tours was the most efficient and offered us the most for our money
