What a great (and reasonably priced) experience. We were very impressed with the knowledge of the guides on the boat. Everything flowed like clockwork and we're were all very comfortable. We gots to see tons of sea otters, bald eagles, and other sea birds.

This is operated by women and we had a great ride, stopping for whales, otters and bird island. Nice calm ride, I just loved Seldovia, so quaint and great food at the Boardwalk restaurant recommended by the tour boat. Pricing on this tour reasonable too.

We used this tour boat company for a day tour to Seldovia, AK. I cannot say enough good things about the friendliness and helpfulness of the crew on board our tour. The captain did a great job of pointing out wildlife and getting into coves and bays to find puffins, gulls, eagles and sea otters. We had three hours in... More

My husband and I visited Homer, Alaska and while there took the 7 hour Rainbow Tours trip to Seldovia. We love to do photography and what an absolutely fun day we had!! We started out across Kachemak Bay and went to Gull Island, a rookery of what seemed like a billion birds. That was superb and even though it was... More

I took the rainbow tours boat back from Seldovia. It was a hour and 15 minute boat ride that allowed me the opportunity to see Seldovia and all of Kachemak Bay. We even got to see rafts of sea otters!! Would definitely take this boat again.

We had a wonderful 7 hours on this trip. The guides were amazing and provided such wonderful explanation of all aspects of our trip. We saw puffins. Whales, many sea otters floating on their back asleep unaware of what was going on around them. We had 2 hours in Seldovia which is an interesting isolated village across the bay from... More

We took the 7-hour Seldovia Wildlife Tour on Labor Day weekend and had a great time, seeing sea otters and eagles along the way to the small village across Kachemak Bay. The knowledgeable staff provided informative narration, and took the time to talk to travelers individually to suggest options during the three-hour stopover in Seldovia. The boat was full of... Looking for a way to enjoy the next day without worrying about the inclement weather, we wandered into the office of the Rainbow Tours. The young woman who helped us guaranteed we would love the Gull Island - Seldovia day tour. Ron, Victoria and Madeline were delightful - a perfect mixture of information and good humor. We saw rafts of... More

We booked this trip from the UK with the very helpful Cassy. We were fortunate that on the outward journey there where only a couple of dozen people so plenty of room for moving around the boat. We stayed outside the whole trip even through the rain which started as we left Gull Island and continued all day. Hundreds of... More

We booked the Seldovia tour on our first day in Homer. The crew was excellent..Madeline and Victoria were exceptionally nice especially to our 9 year old. On Tuesday we did a half day halibut fishing trip and again it dis not disappoint. We caught our limit , the crew filleted our fish and we packaged as recommended. When we go... More
