The Maritime Refuge covers a huge expanse of territory and the displays and interactive exhibits give you a taste of the history and wonder of this national treasure. Lots of interesting information about nature preservation in the area, and most of it presented in a very interesting way. Free, and the people who work there were super helpful in showing us other walks we might like. Only took about 20 minutes in here, & they had discounts for the Pratt Museum, too! More

You can watch a 15 minute film and see lots of great displays done VERY WELL! Oh, but the best part... More

Great place to pop in on your way to the beach or Two Sisters Bakery. This place has so much to offer and you can be there for 15 min or up to 2 hours ( on a rainy day) More

Had a great time with my family. Walked around exhibits, they were well done and interesting. Helpful staff and some interactive activities. The center also does various beach walks during low tides and nature tours. Nature viewing opportunities and not far from the beach. More

From outside the building looks huge, but after you enter there is a lot of wasted space and offices. The content that is there is good though. More
