Nice Day, great boat ride from homer to Seldovia. Arrived about noon, stayed 4.5 hours. Hiked trails, picked up beach glass, visited shops just had fun. Ride home was sunny and we saw a lot of sea otters and a few whales. Great day, nice crew, clean facilities

The vessel looks brand new, and reservations aren't required (we used a TourSaver coupon). Complimentary coffee and tea are available. The captain and crew were adept at spotting marine life and the captain was quite gracious about stopping so we could oooh and aaaah over the sights. During our round trip we saw both humpback and orca whales, as well... More

We decided to travel to the Sleepy town of Seldovia for a couple of hours. We took the Selodvia Bay Ferry, which had plenty of space and was kid friendly (we had a 9 year old and a 1.5 year old). The double hull catamaran made the 45 minute trip comfortable. But the best part of the trip was that... More

Incredibly fast! Beautiful views of the ocean, Homer and Seldovia. The crew were great and rather comical, dancing the "Whale Dance" on the bow to attract the whales, (didn't work this time). The ferry cut through the waves like butter.

If you're looking for a quick ride to Seldovia this ferry is great. Clean boat, friendly staff, plenty of room, and a fast ride with great views. What more can you ask for?

The passenger ferry is nearly new (4 years old) and offers a scenic, fast, and comfortable trip. Seldovia is fun to visit with its excellent museum, shops, eateries, eagles, beaches, old boardwalk, and quiet marina.

The ferry holds abut 200 people. It is newly minted, squeaky clean, well piloted and serviced. The trip is spectacular: snow covered dormant volcanos, otters and eagles, craggy cliffs, seaweed drifts, fragrant sea breeze, free coffee and tea, maritime expertise etc. The absolutely unique feature is that there are very few passengers. Most days there are 12 to 20! Sledovia... More

Beautiful scenery and a smooth ride over to Seldovia. The captain is also the owner of the Boardwalk hotel where we stayed - it was GREAT!!

Everything about this trip was amazing - don't miss this if you have the opportunity. Bird watching, great weather, super captain and co-captain with an abundance of wisdom to share.
