Fun afternoon

Good wine. Knowledgeable staff. Decent Alaska prices. Pretty easy to find and cool place to pick up gifts.

OK, just know that these wines are made from berries NOT grapes. We had a Kenai Passport book (pick one up at the Chamber Visitor Center) and got 2 for 1 tastings. My husband really liked the wine and bought 2 bottles, so the tasting fee was waived. With that said, I don't really enjoy sweet wines so I did... More

Was staying in Homer and there was no way we could not stop in the winery. They had a great deal. You could do a tasting for $5 and if you bought a bottle they took the $5 off. Since Alaska does not have grapes a majority of the wines are fruit wines but not all of them were super... More

For $5 you can taste up to 8 wines and if you buy a bottle they take the $5 off your purchase. Very good selections and great customer service and help. My husband and I both enjoyed our selections.

I want to express my unwelcome experience that I recently had at this winery. Yes, I was with a bus of people.....No we didn't make prior arrangements.....I come from a state that has many, many wineries and have never felt as unwelcome as I did at this place. If I would have had my way I would have discouraged all... More

Love, love, love this winery. So disappointed they don't ship to Oklahoma or Texas....hopefully someday :) Their current seasonal wine of Peach Apricot is AMAZING! Also love Pomegranate & Alaska Port. Will be watching for more states to be added to their shipping list. A MUST visit in Homer if you love good wine!! The new labeling is so cute.

The wines at Bear Creek were very tasty. Although it's $5 a tasting, the cost is set aside when you buy a bottle of wine. And buy you will! These wines are goooood. There is also a small garden area to walk through that is brimming with all kinds of flowers. There's even a koi pond. Enjoy!

This winery is awesome! They have many varieties of wine and the scenery of their property is worth walking through. The sample room is amazing! You can sample just about any wine you want. Plus they always have wines in the tasting bar that aren't online. Be careful before you find your new favorite though, they only ship to specific... More

Awesome place. Great selection of wines and souvenirs with a most helpful pleasant staff. Beautiful gardens and landscapes surrounding the store. Also can take interesting guided tour of their wine making facilities.

We were pleasantly surprised by how good the Bear Creek Winery wines were, we expected them to be very sugary and most were quite balanced and fun. We purchased 3 bottles, 1, the pomegranate we drank with some sprite added to it, tasted like a spritzer, and was quite refreshing. The grounds and the lodges attached to the winery are... More
