We have just returned from an incredible month in Alaska. The best day of our visit was the flight to see bears. The flight to the Katmai Reserve was beautiful in itself as we got to see the volcanoes of the area and to observe bears fishing along a river before the plane set down and we got up close... More

I should probably write my own thoughts, but below is the letter my father sent to the staff at Bald Mountain Air. I think it sums up why we loved this adventure and would recommend it to anyone. Dear Friends, We've just returned from nearly a month of vacationing in the northwest. We want you to know we will never... More

The plane ride was smooth as silk. The pilots, Eric and Tony were awesome. So friendly and were a big part of making this so special. We have been to Alaska twice and this was by far the absolute BEST day of either trips. We were in God's country watching bears be bears and I couldn't have been happier! We... More

I will start by saying that I am posting the same review on both Bald Mountain sites (not sure why there are two sites for the same company). We decided to take another bear viewing trip this year after going on a trip last year with Alaska Bear Adventures. This trip was simply amazing! We saw over 40 different bears... More

Unbelievable experience! Our friendly pilot/guide knew where the Brown Bears were. We saw approximately 18 (many with cubs). Quite a bit of hiking across the tundra so you'll want to be in decent shape (about 4 miles). I plan on returning with my three children. I'll definitely use BMA again!

We went to Brooks Falls with Bald Mountain Air. The people are very nice. The water-float plane flew very smoothly. We felt very safe. We saw a lot of bears. They are so friendly. Catching the salmons and chasing around, they totally ignored us. The trip was expensive, but it worth every penny.

Wonderful adventure. We saw 40+ bears and a lot of red salmon swimming the stream. It was fun watching the bear fish and the cubs play. We got really close to them. Pilots were very good, Tony and Eric. They complimented each other well. DON'T MISS this trip.

The people in this company are really nice! we flew a water-float plane to the bear country. We spotted some bears from the air, and landed close by to the river. We had the chance to sit there and observe the bears as they were catching salmons and it was amazing. We felt like we're in a National Geographic movie,... More
