We took the 3/4 day halibut on the nauti-lady. Stormy and Jacob were the deck hands and were very good. Capt jack was polite and fun. They were prompt with departure times... read more

I am an Alaskan resident and have fished South Central Alaska waters for over 40 years. I have been on good and not so good halibut charters. I am all about a fun experience on the water with some fish to come home with. This is my first time writing in response to the worst Halibut Charter I have ever... More

We were booked on a halibut/salmon trip through Bob's. The company was called Mega Bite Charters and the boat name was Ida Nina. Captain was Jerry. This charter was a joke. Captain was still cleaning the boat when we arrived at 7 am (supposed to leave at 7 am). After finished cleaning and starting up the boat-we were told the... More

Great captain and Corey on deck worked his tail off. Worked to get us on the fish. Had the best fishing of our lives. Thanks very much.

We went out with them twice two years ago, and we were excited to go out with them again this year! Captain John got us right on the Halibut and my husband, son and I limited out by lunch! Our biggest was 43 inches and we had a blast! We didn't book early enough and only had the pleasure of... More

We really enjoyed Halibut fishing with Bob's Trophy Charters. The crew of three were excellent, friendly and hard working. We felt very safe on the boat and fishing. It was such fun! The crew went out of their way to make sure you caught the two halibut limit. It was a work of art for them to clean the halibut... More

We took the 3/4 day halibut on the nauti-lady. Stormy and Jacob were the deck hands and were very good. Capt jack was polite and fun. They were prompt with departure times. Boat and equipment was in good shape. Only complaint is you had to bring your own lunch. I've never been on a fishing charter that you had to... More

What a great fishing day! Waters were a little turbulent, but perfect trip otherwise. Deckhands Stormi and Jacob were working hard to make sure everyone had a good chance to catch halibut. And everyone got their limit of 2, in additional to many other that were released. Captain John sure took us to "fishy" waters, about one and a half... More

My husband and I booked two days on Tuff Stuff, one for halibut fishing and the next for a salmon/halibut combo. We were very impressed with the duo of Mark and Corey who worked well together, kept everybody on fish, and made sure that we were safe even in the weather we were having. Limited out on halibut both days... More

When we booked Bob's Trophy Charters I was slightly offended by the cost, however, it was worth every penny and more. We did a six pack all day trip (based on trip advisor reviews) and before our poles even hit the water we saw a pod of Orca, Humpback whales, Sea Otters with babies in tow, Puffin that hung with... The crew was genuinely invested in making this consumer and family friendly. They ensured poles were baited and rigged and that all safety contingencies were managed. On the ride out from Homer we were greeted by Puffins, Otters, Loons, and even a Humpback Whale who seemed to enjoy performing as he breached 7-8 times. We fished until everyone on board... More
