The owners and staff at Bob's do it over and over. They are courteous, accommodating and customer oriented. I first stumbled on to Bob's because they were the first fishing charter business I came to on the Spit. That was 7 years ago, and the only time I have used any other charter business in Homer is when Bob's booked... More

We traveled from Southeast USA to complete an item on the bucket list. We fished two days with Captn Mike on the Wild Thing for halibut and limited both days. He was very professional and made sure we were his priority. His grandson is following in his footsteps and is a great young man. He doesn't care about impressing the... More

Hello Fishermen/Fisherwomen. Be careful when booking here. I have been coming to Alaska and fishing the beautiful waters on the Kenai Peninsula for 14 years. I have been out with over 50 charter companies between the ocean, river, and flyout trips I've taken. This year unlike most I decided to bring seven other friends and relatives to experience the Alaska... More

Wow, what a day on the water! Was extremely rough and choppy, but the Captain and his crew was extremely professional and made sure each of us was doing ok and helped to make sure everyone got their catch. Thank you for a great day of halibut fishing!

I would not hesitate to go back to the magnificent backdrop of Alaska. And the tough stuff will find fish.

Booked this place for my husbands very first fishing trip to Alaska. It was a recommendation from a friend. The staff was great, accommodations were ok. A TV would have been nice. Even though we were on vacation, a TV would have been nice to be able to relax to in the evening. Diane was awesome, helpful, friendly, and went... More

We booked a last-minute day trip in the bay outside Homer to catch Halibut. These are the nicest folks in Homer. We had a lot of questions the day before about weather and what to expect, and they were patient and extremely helpful. I left my waterproof pants on the boat, and the next day, they got them back for... More

I booked my boys with this charter for a whole day fishing trip. They had a wonderful time! Came back which the maximum allowed quantity of salmon and halibut. The fish were sent directly to be packaged and frozen, we picked them up the next day before heading back in a box ready to be shipped. It was more expensive... More

Spend your money here. Seriously, no need to deliberate these guys are excellent. We did the 3/4 day halibut charter and had an absolute blast. Our deck hands (Stormy and Jacob) were outstanding. They were efficient and kept a very light-hearted, yet focused atmosphere on the ship. Our Captain (John) put us square on the fish, and after mastering the... More

Rough waters didn't distract our captain and deck hand from making sure we caught our limits and had a good time! I can't wait to go again and will highly recommend this place to everyone! Great owners, staff, and all around experience. Thank you Bob's trophy charters for the trip of a lifetime!!
