In the month of June I took another bear adventure with kbay bear adventures. They are number one and will always. I have experienced four adventures with them and it gets better and better. When in alaska this is the number one attraction and one you will never forget,it's a great family adventure that a family visiting alaska will enjoy.The... More

This was an experience of a lifetime and worth every penny. Four small planes travelled, landed and took off together. Our pilot was the owner, Michael and he is very knowledgeable about the bears and clearly loves his work. Despite the somewhat rainy weather we enjoyed being up close and personal with 6 grizzlies digging for clams on the beach.... More

This was an amazing experience and thats from seasoned Tour operators from Hawaii...at first I was frankly fearful of a long over water flight in a small single engined aircraft but then realised there were four going at once providing security and they fly high and over a string of islands to get to this remote National Park...the flight and... Our pilot/guide Jared was extremely knowledgeable and was a pleasure to spend the day with. We saw more bear (including twin cubs with their mom) & watched them catching salmon than I could have imagined. Our flight was amazing and included circling Mt Iliamna. A definite highlight of our Alaska trip. Well worth the cost. We will do this again!

These people give a great tour! They knew where bears would be feeding that day, and flew us to Lake Clark National Park. We all wore hip waders so we could walk towards the bears. Our guide gave us lots of help to get through the mud. We felt totally safe and got great views of the bears. Just as... More

We loved our trip with Alaska Bear Adventures. We received a safety briefing on what to expect before we boarded our planes. They also gave us hip waders. There was a second briefing on plane safety on the tarmac. It was comforting to know they were so concerned about our safety. Although it was a rainy day (limiting views), we... More

There are a few reasons to go with K Bay. The most important is their guides. Who you have fly you there and take you on the tour really is the most important part of the event. We went with Martin and he was fabulous. He was a very professional pilot, nice guy and great on the ground with the... More

Without a doubt the highlight of my extraordinary wildlife trip around Alaska and Western Canada. A must for any wildlife enthusiast or those seeking the very best photos of brown bear in action. While most people do 1-day (it is pretty expensive), I did a 2-day, 7hour/day session because I wanted to hedge against bad weather for better photographs. One... More

An amazing air adventure. We initially had our original flight canceled due to weather but got rescheduled for the next day. Our pilot and guide Martin was the consummate professional. We had some amazing views of Mt. Redoubt and Lake Clark National Park flying in. Then, shortly after we landed, we had a bear pass by us less than 40... More

OMG what a great time we had. After our safety briefing we boarded our 6 passenger plane for a 1 hour flight Lake Clark National Park. Even though it was overcast the ride was filled with lots of wonderful views. Upon landing the bears began to appear. A momma with 3 babies kept us interested for a long time as... More
