Do not hesitate to book this adventure! we (my boyfriend and me, 30 and 27 years old from austria) came just from this amazing trip and its really worth every cent. we saw 7 bears from the bottom and 5 from the plane. Our guide and pilot was very nice, funny and really really qualified - we got really(!!!) close... More

The owners of this company have the mission-- safety, good service with a smile and unrelenting ethics about caring for the bears. We are in awe of the knowledge our guide and owner Mike shared with us. We were the first customers of the season and we saw so much-- only six of us at Hallo Bay. I highly recommend... More

Thank you for the nice review. We love having visitors return, especially at different times of the season. The bears have different activities during different weeks of the season. So much fun to share that with others. Glad you were able to join us again. More

The guide, Jared, was knowledgeable not only about the brown bears daily routine, but their seasonal habitat, the environmental factors that weigh in on their survival even in spite of their size and prowess. He gave us a view of the feeding at low tide of the salmon, clamming, the meadows where they napped, and ate grasses, and we even... More

This side trip to view the bears up close and personal was one of the highlights of our Alaska vacation. Everything was wonderful! The small plane held 5 tourists and the pilot. We were a little cramped, but the Alaskan views were amazing! Our pilot would point out various sights that we were flying over. Once we arrived at our... More

This was a fantastic trip! In no fault to the company, we were a bit disappointed in that we were a little early in the season and only saw a couple of bears, but this was the only time my brother could join us. The weather was a bit rainy leaving Homer but cleared up to a very nice summer... More

This was an experience of a lifetime and worth every penny. Four small planes travelled, landed and took off together. Our pilot was the owner, Michael and he is very knowledgeable about the bears and clearly loves his work. Despite the somewhat rainy weather we enjoyed being up close and personal with 6 grizzlies digging for clams on the beach.... More

This was an amazing experience and thats from seasoned Tour operators from Hawaii...at first I was frankly fearful of a long over water flight in a small single engined aircraft but then realised there were four going at once providing security and they fly high and over a string of islands to get to this remote National Park...the flight and... Our pilot/guide Jared was extremely knowledgeable and was a pleasure to spend the day with. We saw more bear (including twin cubs with their mom) & watched them catching salmon than I could have imagined. Our flight was amazing and included circling Mt Iliamna. A definite highlight of our Alaska trip. Well worth the cost. We will do this again!
