I have been to may destinations around the world, and I always wanted to go to AK. Took a cruise ship through the inside passage and wanted to see the glaciers up close and from the air. My companion and I had a great time, Drake was helpful talkative and a great pilot. His plane and equipment were great and... More

Our flight with Fly Drake was the experience of a lifetime! When we made our reservation, Drake recommended that we touch base on the morning of the flight to arrange a time that best took advantage of the day’s weather forecast. True to his word, he called exactly at the agreed-upon time. Our flight was later in the afternoon, which... More

We flew with Drake on the day our ship ported in Skagway and would recommend it to everyone who wants to get away from the cookie cutter tours the ships' offer. I had booked with Drake about two months before we arrived and he "put us on the books". Drake called us the morning of our flight (we had to... More

I took a cruise to Alaska with my parents for their 50th anniversary. When we got to Skagway I had a surprise for them. I had contacted Drake about a week before our trip, and arranged a flight of Glacier Bay. WOW, I am a pilot, and WOW. What a great guy what a beautiful day to fly. We flew... More

My husband and I toured Alaska for my 50th birthday. My dream/wish was to see Glacier Bay, but our cruise tour did not allow it. I found Fly Drake on-line and knew he was the perfect person to fly us there. You see, my big, strong husband is afraid of heights. I knew that I needed not only an excellent... More

We went up with Drake in weather that couldn't quite make its mind up, but once we got up there it really cleared up. The view from the plane is incredible and Drake was awesome. We felt totally safe the whole time and spent the whole trip in complete amazement at the views. Thanks Drake, we'll be back for sure!... More

July 03, 2014 we went Fly Fishing in Haines, AK. Looked like we would have issues getting back to Skagway to board our cruise ship that day. Our Fishing Guide Greg, got ahold of Drake and next thing you know we are up in the Air over the Glaciers before returning to the Ship. Drake gave us the Tour that... More

We flew into Gustavas on July 1st with Drake it was fantastic we saw so much terrain and glaciers it was incredible. He is a fantastic pilot who is very knowledgeable about the weather, which can change very quickly. On July 3rd it was not a very good day but he got to Gustavas to pick us up and I... More

I stumbled upon Drake while in Haines a few nights hoping to find an instructor to fly with. I wandered around the Haines airport and found an open hangar where he was working on one of his planes. I immediately recognized him as one of the bush pilots featured in the National Geographic channel's Alaska Wing Men. He was immediately... More

We were in Skagway on 9th June on a cruise on the Zaandam, and we wanted to do a flight over the glaciers. We were recommended to contact Drake by one of the tour guides on Alaska Excursions, so we called up, and Drake was able to take us and another guy up that afternoon from Skagway airport. It was...
