Very fun time exploring the mountains on an ATV. We were excited all 5 of us could fit in one ATV! Gorgeous views all the way up. Warm cookies and drinks half way up. hen we went to the top to see the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen. Headed back down and treated to a great dinner buffet... More

We were on vacation with family of seven people, ages ranging from 17 to 75. This adventure was an awesome experience. We got on a ferry (that was fun) then we took a short ride on a bus to meet up with the "mules". The weather was exceptional so that really enhanced our experience. We were in wilderness, beautiful views,waterfalls... More

This was by far one of the best opportunities we had to be out in the wilderness, and with such experienced guides! John and Ruth were incredibly knowledgable, and made the trip so enjoyable. Christie prepared the most amazing meal for us on our way back down the mountain, with spectacular views and a great chance at seeing the local... More

As part of our cruise, we chose a 4x4 day tour of Takshanuk Mountain. We had a beautiful, crisp June day. The tour starts out with a bus ride from the ferry dock to the base of this rather small mountain. We were allowed to pick out a 4 x 4 ATV and there were enough people that two others... More

My husband and I did the Takshanuk Mountain Trail as one of our excursions during an Alaskan cruise with Disney, and we had a great time. I should preface this review by stating that I am afraid of heights, don't like roller coasters, and am not typically one to take part in most kinds of outdoor adventuring. However, my husband... This tour takes you through various elevations from forest to above the tree line. The trail offers various points for awesome pictures, including the fjord. The 4x4's are easy to drive, and quite comfortable for the terrain you travel. The beer battered halibut served at lunch was the absolute best I have ever eaten. The staff were very informative and... More

Did the 4x4 in Haines The mules were great. Was able to see lots of breathtaking views. Would recommend this trip over and over again. The views were just fantastic. The crew was very friendly and informative. They answered all our questions, and gave us some very good information about the area. Of course you can't go wrong with the... More

My wife and I did an afternoon tour on the Takshanuk trail as part of our Skagway shore excursions. We love riding/driving any kind of ATVs so we thought this would be fun. While the tour ended up being relatively sedate, it was still a very chillaxing tour through beautiful scenery. We met near the cruise dock and waited around... More
