We were blessed with a visit on a free ride day. Not sure if I would have paid $100 to ride it, but for free - what a great deal. The views from the top are outstanding and the pictures are incredible. My girls can't stop talking about it, and if you have little kids the 7 minute ride is... More

We took a free tram ride to the top of the ski lift and restaurants at the Alyeska resort. It was raining below, and snowing at the top. The surrounding area was very scenic. Although not skiiers, there were many enjoying the fresh snow and having a great time. The staff and skiiers were all very friendly and shared experiences... More

Cool experience for my family and I, we very much enjoyed the tram and when you get to the top of it you can get yourself something to eat, at the TOP of the mountain! How cool is that? I really enjoyed our time at Alyeska and taking the tram to the top of the mountain! If you have any... More

We visited with our seven and nine year old in July 2014. The tram ride up the mountain was exciting- we got to see wildlife and flowers. At the top we were treated to expansive views of the mountains and valleys. We hiked further up which was a bit challenging due to the upward angle but nothing the kids couldn't... More

I have been living in Alaska for 5 years and I never get tired of going up here the Tram is brand new and the views going up are awesome, if you are lucky enough to be there in those days where the clouds are seating really low is like being in heaven is just an amazing feeling.

It will cost you $25 for a view that just isn't that impressive. The restaurant up top was decent... friendly staff and okay food, but definitely not worth the trip up.

The best way to the top..... A quick easy ride run by very professional Alyeska staff. Also, the best way to get down to avoid all the flats at the bottom of the moujntain!

This $20 ride is definitely a little pricey, but it is 100% worth the cost, especially if you have a discount from the Northern Lights coupon book. Once you've reached the top, you can spend as long as you'd like gazing out over the Turnagain arm. I grew up in Anchorage and this was still an amazing sight for me... More

The tram ride up to the top of this ski resort is spectacular ! You get a GREAT view of the Village of Girdwood and the Cook inlet in the valley. The lady that operated the car that we rode in knew the area very well and had good answers for any questions asked of her on our ride up... More
