Visited in the Fall and mountain is clear. No snow yet just about to. Sun was setting at 8pm. My aunt gave it as a treat. That made it even more fantastic! It's picturesque and the scene is captivating. It's like you're near the heavens! The ride was smooth. Hope to experience it once again.

I visited at the end of January and the views were spectacular. You have the ability to watch skiiers and snowboarders glide past as they head down the mountain and into the cloud and the photos you can take of this are outstanding. It's around $20 to take this tram ride but I felt it was worth it.

The ticket to go up is $17 per adult, at least in the offseason. It was absolutely breathtaking scenery, plus you can get off at the top of the tram and go to a museum/gift shop and take pictures from there. You can also stay on if you prefer and ride it back down. It is a wonderful and scenic... More

This tram offers one of the best views from a mountain, but its very pricey for just something that takes you to the top. Its about $10/child-$20/adult. In July sometimes there is still snow up on the mountain and this can make the fog roll in fast, once it does your view is gone. As the tram is going up... More

Visited here on our cruise ship transfer from Whittier to Anchorage after disembarkation. It's basically a cable car that goes up the mountain from the Alyeska Ski Lodge hotel. As we visited in September there was no snow yet. Once we got to the top the views were great but most of the ski runs/hiking trails were closed. So had... More

I feel that if you are in the area, or even if you're not and this is a drive for you, this attraction is a must do. The view from the top of the tram was remarkable, and though I can not comment on the restaurant, everything else that I saw associated with this attraction was first class. I definitely... More

We took the. Tram up just before sunset and spent a half hour looking around! We then went into the restaurant and enjoyed a great meal! Very nice experience!

We really enjoyed going up in the tram. The view was spectacular, and the tram operators were friendly and helpful. You can walk around at the top and take lots of gorgeous pictures. Go on a clear day and you'll love it!

We took the tram up mid-day as we didn't want to venture too far from Anchorage since we were flying out that evening. It is on the expensive side - $20/person. There are discounted rates for senior, military, and children. I picked up a discount coupon at the airport which gave us $2.50 off each ticket, and it's good on... More

We called in here while on a day tour with Alaska Cruise tours from Whittier to Anchorage, following a 7 night cruise from Vancouver. It is a nice cable car journey to top of Mt Alyeska. Fine views from the top. There is a restaurant at the top with panoramic views and a museum with some fine historical photos of... More
