We rode the tram up and the views are absolutely breathtaking. There are many places for great photos and a wonderful restaurant on top. It's definitely worth the money. It's located right at the Alyeska Resort.

Stayed at the Alyeska Hotel. Amazing hotel, wrote the review separately. The tram is accessible directly from the hotel. You can go up and hike in the alpine region there or just hike back down as opposed to the torturous switchbacks. Tickets sell right behind the hotel close to the tram terminal. We got free tickets as we were staying... More

Ride to the top of the mountain for some spectacular views. Tram rides up and drops off were you can walk around and take pictures. Worth the money. Spotty cell service but was able to FaceTime a friend back home from the mountain top.

The older I get the more fear of heights I get. But pushed that aside and sucked it up. Went on tram ride with my wife. Comes with a free lunch at the deli at the top. Views are unimaginable and worth the ride from Anchorage. Was anxious the whole time but glad we went.

This is a pretty cool thing to do. If you are staying at the hotel right there, you have to ride the Tram to the top. Even if it is only for some drinks. Incredible view from the top.

We rode the train to the Sever Glaciers restaurant. Beautiful views. It was great watching the weather change in the mountains as we sat and ate our dinner.

Loved the arial view of Girdwood and the magnificent Hotel Alyeska. It was cold and windy that day at the top, but the restrooms were comfortable and nicely heated. We were too early for the gift shop and the restaurant, but they both looked very interesting. You could also tell that it was a world-class ski resort.

this one is definitely worth the 15 bucks for a summer run up the mountain. It starts with a smooth ride up, and the views are amazing. You also get to walk around without tour guides or anything else in your way. Just you and the mountain. If you went all the way to Anchorage, don't miss this one. Most... More

We decided to take the tram ride even though it was a cloudy day. At times from the bottom terminal we could not see the summit. The ride was fun. Once on top the clouds moved in and out, which created ever changing scenery. The clouds made the experience better. The view of the Turnagain Arm was magnificent. We had... More
