My hotel stay included two free tram passes for a day, and since I ate at 7 Glaciers, another ride up was free. And I hiked up to the tram station a couple of times and was provided free rides down. So I can't really say for sure if I would have considered the ride to be worth a $25... More

The guides do a nice job of telling you about the geology of the area and the views can't be beat. Walk up to the glacier to get great shots of what's below. The glacier isn't beautiful.

Great views and friendly, informative staff. This is a must if you are staying at the hotel. The tickets were included with our hotel cost so that was nice- we rode it every day we were there!

On a clear day this is an awesome view from the top. The tram is just a few minutes to the top and you can ride back down whenever you are ready. You are able to see several glaciers, go on for hikes in the summer, or just sit and admire the fantastic view.

We hiked up the North Face Trail and took the tram down. If you hike the 2.2 mile (elevation gain of ~2,300ft), then they give you a free tram ride down. It was pretty cool to see everything from above, and the tram operators are super friendly and willing to answer questions. Highly recommend!

The tram ride was lots of fun but the view at the top was not too great. There were several mountains that were flat due to the ski resorts. Go after 7pm to save $10 per ticket.

We took the tram up and then walked to the summit - a very steep half a mile hike. It was interesting to watch the bikers come up and then ride down. The deli up there is good and the combo ticket it worth it. We did not do this, but a little hint - if you walk up, you... More

Great quick ride and awesome view. The restaurant doesn't allow anyone under 21 year old (They have a big sign on the stairs) so we didn't go in to get an appetizer like we planed. you can see 5 glaciers. Second day we hiked up 1.5 hours on the North Slope trail and took the tram down for free.

The tram is accessed directly behind the Alyeska Hotel. I suggest getting the deli tram combo ticket which will allow to ride the tram all day plus gives you a $20 credit to spend at the deli at the top. It is a great view from the top.

Tram ride was included with the hotel room. You can either hike to the top of the mountain or pay for the tram. Tram ride down is free whether you take the tram up or not. Tram is big and probably accommodates 30-40 people, mostly standing space.
