You don't have to take the tram every time you visit Alyeska, but you do have to take the tram at some point. The ride doesn't take all that long and you get one of the best views of the valley that you can get. Little tip, take the trail up the mountain and the tram ride is free coming... More

The ride up is fun, the view from up top great on clear days. If you hike up to the to you also get a free ride down. Good hikes up to add well. Well worth a trip up.

I'll only use the tram if I'm dining at Seven Glaciers. I find the tram to be expensive to just see the scenery from the top (there's no shortage of free great scenery in AK).

Amazing views from the tram along the way and especially from the top, where fine dining and evening drinks were a pleasant way to top off the evening. Don't forget your Camera. The views inside are almost as great as the views from the outside the Restaurant.

We stayed at a Hotel Alyeska on our Alaskan land tour and a trip on the aerial tram was included. On our ride up and view from the top were spectacular!!! We could see snow-capped mountains in the distance and we were surrounded by beautiful hills and blooming wild flowers. There were many hiking trails, and avid hikers could even... More

Took the tram up to the restaurant! The view is amazing!!! I am terrible afraid of heights but the scenery is so beautiful it distracted me from thinking of how high up we were.

The Tram is a great way to reach to the top of aleyska mountain for every one. The Tram starts from the aleyksa resort itself. The journey is for few minutes to reach to the top but as we go up the views are spectacular. Definitely recommend doing the trip to the top of Aleyska mountain using the tram.

Smooth ride, capable operator, who told us to look for wildlife below. Just over half-way, I looked out the window and saw a very large black bear coming out of the woods into a clear area. The operator was right! Some of the other passengers also got to see him as we passed directly over him. Very cool! The view... More

Took this tram ride to the top to see the amazing views. We also saw moose on the way up the hill. Winter so shops and restaurant was closed at the top, but the views were still worth the ride.

Our tram ticket and boxed lunch came as part of the day tour we were on. We took the tram up Alyeska Mountain with stunning views of 7 glaciers, majestic mountains and the Turnagain Arm. Up the top you'll also find the Roundhouse at Alyeska Museum displaying the proud history of the Girdwood Valley and Mt Alyeska. Merchandise was available... More
