Enjoyed a wonderful morning alpine hike with our guide Ryan. We weren't looking forward to the hike because of the fog and drizzle. But our guide provided rain pants, and said we would be hiking above the fog. His positive attitude quickly had us making our way toward the glacier. We had good views of the valley below. Ryan had... More

Was good, we had two guides for six people. The glacier was pretty much melted and were told they figure it would be melted in five years. Great to hear about the 650" of snow they get in a year!!!

I highly recommend Ascending Path! We went rock climbing today with Ryan, who was an amazing guide. We chose this particular excursion because we were traveling with our three and seven year old kids and the rock climbing excursion allowed young kids. Ryan was beyond fantastic with our kids and we all had a great time. We will definitely be... More

Our guide Brian was into his craft of being a tour guide, assessing our needs and wants as we started our moderate, ascension from the tram to the Alyeska Glacier. He was knowledgable and prepared for us. This was our first excursion in Alaska, a great way to start our vacation.

I was somewhat worried about this glacial hike, but Heather was our guide and she was so professional and confident. We felt safe every step of the way and saw amazing vistas. Don't wait til late summer, or there won't be much of a glacier to hike.

We did about a 3 1/2 hour hike with Peter, our guide, on 4th July and it was awesome! There was only my husband and myself so it made it very personal and we able to hike at our level. We took the Alyeska tram up the mountain at 9am and then hiked further up to the edge of the... More

The Mt. Alyeska tram ride in itself was beautiful and fun, then when we got to the top, we headed further by foot for our glacier trek. It was a lot of fun and a wonderful experience. This is a must do for a trip to Alaska!

What a great trip. The guides were very friendly and knew their stuff! kayaking across the lake was amazing. Best part was going around the icebergs that had broken off the glacier. After a short session on how to use crampons, we were hiking around the glacier. It was an unreal experience. The only negative was that on the train... More
