Peter was an awesome guide up on the glacier and all of the staff, whether it be folks who picked us up from the hotel to the people who outfitted us for the adventure were all top notch. What a fun, majestic encounter with the dogs and what a great time riding on the sled and playing with the puppies... More

This is a bit expensive but great value. My 11 year old granddaughter and I were escorted to and from the heliocopter base, then flew to the mountain top to meet the great dogs and staff. The ride was short but ok cuz it was cold. There was a warming tent and puppies to play with. We had borrowed gloves, and... More

I had never been on a helicopter before and the ride was absolutely amazing with a great view to take pictures from. The tour guide on the glacier was fantastic and had a great sense of humor to make the experience fun. We even got to play with puppies! I highly recommend this place!

This was one of the most memorable experiences that we had in Alaska. An hour long tour on a small plane and landing on a Glacier called Ruth - one of the biggest Glaciers. We also played with Snow for some time took some pictures, and tried to walk around. We were lucky to see a small avalanche (snow slide)... More

We were fortunate to be able to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to see the glaciers and overall landscape from the air on a perfect sunny day (early evening but in Alaska in summer it is still very bright. After initially being advised that there were no more bookings available, we found out that another pilot became available and... More

Brought whole family to start our Alaska trip with a bang. Fantastic bluebird day trip to glacier. Drank glacier water, hiked around helicopters, then awesome beautiful trip over prince William sound where we saw seals, otters etc. Set a high bar for first day!

Definitely worth every penny! The staff were friendly, professional and helpful, the pilots very skilled and knowledgeable about the environment, geology and wildlife, and the helicopters well maintained. This was one of the highlights of our Alaskan adventure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alpine Air Alaska, and will bok another tour with them should I be so fortunate to return.

I enjoyed the helicopter ride as much as the dog mushing. It is a very friendly and professional organisation. Importantly they don't rush you, first fitting you into warm jackets and snow boots before boarding the helicopter. In no time you are with the dogs and hearing all about the history and experiencing the dog mushing first hand. It's an... More

Today we went on a short helicopter ride to Punch Bowl Glacier. The views were magnificent! Once there we enjoyed a dog sled ride. It was quite a different experience! My five-year-old had a wonderful time! A wonderful taste of Alaska!
