This was our 12 year old sons favorite Alaska adventure and my husband and I both loved it. The lady booking us, Glenda, convinced us to wait for the only booking available that day - 5 hours away- because the day was so beautiful. She then suggested things to do until we departed and we were so thankful since our... More

We used Alpine Air on a sunny day to go up the glacier for the dog sledding. The whole experience was great, they take care of you from the moment of pickup to the ride back. We stayed in Girdwood so the ride to the site was short. You get in, get the clothes, including gloves and even sun glasses.... More

The Alpine Air team is an incredible bunch of caring and knowledgeable professionals. From the moment you walk in the door, you're greeted warmly and the team starts to fan the flames of excitement that build as you go through the quick safety briefing. All of the information was straight forward, and we felt extremely safe. Once you're in the... More

Helicopters, glaciers, puppies, crazy eskimo's and sled dogs that love life and their work. How could it NOT be the best day and experience you could EVER dream of. A day and experience I will never ever forget and will be the best day imaginable for the longest time.

The people at Alpine Air were so friendly, and we loved our tour! No wildlife is promised of course, but we were thrilled to see a moose and her calf. The pilot was interesting and we enjoyed the trip very much! I was SO glad we did this. We went on a cruise down Alaska's coast afterward, but this was... More

How to find enough superlatives to describe this extraordinary experience? From the moment we arrived, the girls took us under their collective wing, explaining the safety rules, then they dressed the 4 of us in all the appropriate snow gear (including the trendiest boots!). We were then led out to meet our pilot (Matt) in the cutest little red helicopter... More

Today I took an amazing trip to see the Alaskan glaciers by helicopter. We even landed on one. It was a beautiful trip that my husband and I will always remember. If you are in Alaska it is a must. Not only was the trip extraordinary, the Alpine Air staff was friendly and helpful. John, our tour guide, was very... More

When I booked my trip to Alaska, my first thought was "I want to land on a glacier in a helicopter". After being in Seward, and hitting some rough weather the day before, it wasn't looking like it was going to happen. I saw a poster for Alpine Air in my hotel and called them the morning of our trip.... More

Definitely one of the highlights of my Alaska trip! My best friend and I planned an epic vacation to Alaska to celebrate the end of graduate school. We were fortunate enough to be able to experience Alpine Air Alaska's Glacier Dog Sledding tour on Punch Bowl Glacier. From the time we entered Alpine Air to the glacier to the very... More
