My husband, two kids (8 and 13) and I did this trip over the summer, and it was amazing. First, you visit the historic Crow Creek Goldmine and try your hand at panning for gold--kids especially enjoyed this. Then you rappel into a lush canyon, where you hike along a beautiful trail, picking and eating watermelon berries pointed out by... More

This trip was definitely the highlight of our many excursions in Alaska. The owner of the company and his employees are so knowledgeable about the back country and make this trip worth every penny! Enjoy an exhilarating ride up Twenty Mile River zipping upstream while taking in views of beaver lodges and bald eagles fishing for salmon and tending to... More

This was an excellent adventure for us. This was for our son's 15th birthday and our first time rafting. Even with a little bit of rain the trip was memorable and so enjoyable. They even captured a few moments on camera that was priceless for us. We are ready to go again.

Hi Kelly-- What a fun rafting trip, it is great to meet locals and show off our backyard. We set up our second groupon campaign (first was in 2010) to adventure with families like yours. The photos were classic, wish we were in the right place at the right time all the time :) Take care --Andy More

Very friendly staff. Very knowledgeable with the history of the area and made the hike interesting. Made rappelling for my first time very easy and fun. The waterfall at the bottom was well worth the entire journey. A definite must do and fairly quick adventure.

Hi Darice-- Glad you all enjoyed your canyoneering adventure, rappelling and the waterfall. Canyoneering may be the best individualized tour we offer, since everyone experiences it so differently. We really appreciate your review since it is difficult describing the awesomeness of the canyon. Plus being the only canyoneering tour in Alaska few even know it is possible. We hope to... More

We signed up for this excursion on our recent Alaskan Cruisetour, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Owner and boat captain Andy provided us with a fun, scenic and at times thrilling boat ride upriver to the beautiful and scenic Carmen Lake. We had some time to explore the shoreline, walk on the lower section of... More

Today was the most amazing trip we've had in Alaska. Andy was very friendly, greeting us at the resort and providing local insight in the Girdwood Area. He provided extra layers of clothes and waterproof pants and coats for us to use. Riding the jet-boat up the 20 mile river, we were immersed in the backcountry between large mountain chains... More

We were able to go on the glacier snowmachine tour with Andy and a few of his employees and the trip was absolutely amazing! Andy really listened to everything I wanted when we were exchanging e-mails and texts before the trip, and he really came through with a tour that was mind-blowing and personalized. I think he really likes the... More

My wife and I happened upon Andy while photographing the hooligan fish run. After talking briefly with Andy about his tour, I was all-in. Taking the jetboat up the river and back, and kayaking on the pristine lake at the end of the 20 mile river run, and looking at the myriad eagles along the way, made for the best... More
