We visited the area on 7/31. The Hotel Alyeska was surrounded with beautiful full blossom. The area has a few hiking trails at different difficulty levels. Grandparents were just walking around the hotel area to enjoy the flowers and sunshine, then taking lift up to the top. Younger generations took a hike all the way up. The view was fantastic... I am an avid hiker/trail runner. In July 2015, I took an early hike up to the top of Mt Alyeska. The trails were clearly marked and well maintained. They started out as maintenance roads and then quickly went to single track up the mountain. It was steep and a bit muddy from the recent rains. Dress warm as it... More

Andy, Peyton, and Cody - Rod and I loved our jet boat ride with you up 20 Mile River to 20 Mile Glacier. Lots of fun, conversation, and excitement. Enjoyed the moose in the river and the visit to the Glacier including getting out and walking around. Would recommend this trip to all. Best excursion of our two week trip.

So much fun. More than skiing to do. There's a nice gift shop . A restaurant, the food was great!! Nice clean rest rooms , a beautiful viewing deck. I was there around Christmas time in dec 2013. Very nice Christmas decorations. A big stuffed bear to take photos with. We had a great time. Being from Florida at the... More

I have grown up skiing on Mt. Alyeska and it is one of a kind! I have skied in Colorado and California and find their "black diamonds" to be like our "moderate" runs. Nothing but love for this mountain! (Except the prices, way too expensive for not a whole lot of a change to justify.)

This was a difficult winter, not much snow. The mountain has some good terrain, but unfortunately very little snow this winter.

I spent my birthday week here in September. The weather was still warm and even hot during the day. We spent several days in Girdwood hiking around and eating at the hotel or local spots, then travelled on to Denali for a few days. I honestly couldn't wait to get back to the Alyeska resort. It felt like home...Large rooms... More
