It has been a tough snow year here in alaska and the resort has done a great job of making snow and grooming the lower mountain where temperatures have been... More

This is about an hour's drive south of Anchorage. The Ski Resort is fabulous, the hotel is world class. You can take a tram to the top of the mountain in the summer and it's a awesome view. In the summer it's nice to walk around on the trails. You will find lots of wildlife; don't forget your bear spay... More

Remarkable views when you take the cable car to the top of the mountain. See all the way to the ocean. Have a soup and a beer on top of the clouds. It's a must go to spot. The resort and hotel is also top notch. The resort is 5 star in Alaska standards. It's hard to find a decent... More

Coming from Colorado where we ski Vail's family of resorts we knew the snow and terrain would be different. My son was amazed that the skiing started at 10:30...and we caught last tram as well at 8:30. Totally cool experience for both of us even with thin snow and limited terrain. Amazing views!!!

This resort has something for everyone. There are beginner slopes for those who have never set foot in the snow, to the steepest scariest slopes I have ever seen from Colorado to Montana to Alaska. Plus everything in between. A little pricy for a lift ticket, but you really get what you pay for, and during our trip the longest... More

When planning a ski trip 4 months in advance.... no guantees on having snow. In one of the least snowy winters in a long time. Alyeska still offered a great skiing experience with challenging terrain and great vistas. The crew at Alyeska did a great job in keeping the skiing going in a difficult winter!

Not the best season but I did Heli yesterday and had a blast. The hill is steep with very little for beginners. When there is snow this place is deep and steep.

One would think planning a ski trip for the middle of February in Alaska would be perfect. However, I happened to bring with me, from Hawaii, a Pineapple express with about 3-4 degrees warmer temperatures than were required to turn those downpours into a blizzard. That being said, I did enjoy the top of the mountain snowboarding. The chairs at... More

This was my first time at the resort. First I was extremely discouraged, I've never been snow boarding before. They knew exactly what size to give me based on shoe size. Quickly picked a snowboard and I was on my way. I started on the smallest slope and within 10 minutesan instructor found me and asked if I needed a... More
