Passing by, on our way to a helicopter tour with Alpine Air. We stopped at the resort to have a quick lunch. Very elegant with beautiful views.

The Alyeska Ski Lodge/Hotel is gorgeous and the view from the top of the tram is incredible. People can take the tram up to the top and though this isn't the season to ski, it is still a pleasure to sit in the cafeteria at the top, sipping hot chocolate and imagining what the view would be like in the... Although the snow was gone we enjoyed going up the tram for great scenery. We could see 5 glaciers from the top of the tram.

Breathtaking views and small town feel. The resort was beautifully kept and gave a great nod to the Alaskan native culture. The spa was clean and I had gotten a relaxing massage. We skied and snowboarders for two days and even with a mild winter, the mountain did an excellent job of making sure most trails and lifts were open.

We stayed 6 days at the Alyeska Resort in the Ski Area and it was outstanding!!! The area around the resort is beautiful and quiet with a lot of things to do. There is a fee to ride the tram up to the top of the mountain but the view is breath taking and well worth the cost. There are... More

Everything about this visit was lovely. Enjoyed the tram operator's knowledge, the spectacular view of Turnagain, and the many trails on the mountain. There's not a bad spot in this entire area! And plenty of parking. But beware, food is expensive at the top of the tram.

On my tour with the Salmon Berry company we went up to this beautiful resort. Girwood area is just breath taking. Our tour guide Richard took us up to the ski area, which was very high. I got a little nervous but, the guide that works at Alyeska ski area and our guide Richard made myself along with others feel... More

Last week we took the tram up to the top of the mountain (free tix from Alyeska resort guests). Views? Just go there ... can't describe the boundless beauty without getting trite and corny. We hiked down. Special trails are for mountain bikes pounding down the trails so watch out if you find yourself on the wrong path. Dive quickly.

It was quite cool the day we visited. (May 30th). We took the tram to the top and wandered around. There were very few people up there. The views were nice, even though it was overcast and sprinkling. My only disappointment was that the gift shop on top was supposed to open at 10:00 and at 10:30....it was still not... More
