We stayed her for three days. The flowers are amazing & the views from the top are a can't miss. We had a wonderful dinner at the top.

This was a difficult winter, not much snow. The mountain has some good terrain, but unfortunately very little snow this winter.

I spent my birthday week here in September. The weather was still warm and even hot during the day. We spent several days in Girdwood hiking around and eating at the hotel or local spots, then travelled on to Denali for a few days. I honestly couldn't wait to get back to the Alyeska resort. It felt like home...Large rooms... More

I like the place which was still covered with thick snow. The tram with glass window enables you to enjoy full view 360 degree. There was a souvenir shop up there and you can enjoy great view, a stunning view from here. On the way back, after you get off the tram, try some hot soup etc. at The Bake... More

Went to Girdwood to ski Alyeska Tuesay March 10th with my youngest 2 boys andvTuesday March 17th with my oldest son and it was the best ski day ever there. It has been a tough snow year here in alaska and the resort has done a great job of making snow and grooming the lower mountain where temperatures have been... More

This is about an hour's drive south of Anchorage. The Ski Resort is fabulous, the hotel is world class. You can take a tram to the top of the mountain in the summer and it's a awesome view. In the summer it's nice to walk around on the trails. You will find lots of wildlife; don't forget your bear spay... More

Remarkable views when you take the cable car to the top of the mountain. See all the way to the ocean. Have a soup and a beer on top of the clouds. It's a must go to spot. The resort and hotel is also top notch. The resort is 5 star in Alaska standards. It's hard to find a decent... More

Coming from Colorado where we ski Vail's family of resorts we knew the snow and terrain would be different. My son was amazed that the skiing started at 10:30...and we caught last tram as well at 8:30. Totally cool experience for both of us even with thin snow and limited terrain. Amazing views!!!

This resort has something for everyone. There are beginner slopes for those who have never set foot in the snow, to the steepest scariest slopes I have ever seen from Colorado to Montana to Alaska. Plus everything in between. A little pricy for a lift ticket, but you really get what you pay for, and during our trip the longest... More
