One of the nicest places I have ever visited. The water is warm, the fish are plentiful and just magical. If you go to Rarotonga, which is a bucket list must, you just have to visit Muri. I wouldnt stay at Muri as other spots , for me, provide more, with less tourists and more services, but it is a... More

Muri Lagoon is definitely stunning with its turquoise water and atolls within walking across the water distance. Beautiful for stand-up paddle, kayaking, swimming, floating. Despite its beauty I did not find it to be the ideal spot for snorkeling. Too shallow. Too many sea cucumbers. No coral or rocks for fish to cluster around. Some sort of seaweed/sea grass everywhere.... More

crystal clear water, the most beautiful blue and no waves, there is a small in/out flow of water but no crashing waves. Beautiful place to explore, kayak and snorkel.

Beautiful! Lots of fish and the water was incredible! Was a surreal experience seeing schools of fish all around me in the water!

Stunning lagoon, breathtaking scenery we saw it on perfect days and stormy days and it was stunning both times, still I preferred titikaveka beach however.

Awesome safe swimming, paddling, sailing, snorkelling. Put this on your bucket list. We stayed at Beachcomber self contained bungalow. Stepping down onto the beach every day was wonderful.

Muri Beach is on the lagoon, crystal waters, great temperature, great snorkling. Go there and relax, swim, sunbake and just chill out. One really needs to hire a care or bike while on the island.
