The night markets at Muri Beach are fabulous, Sunday,Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday from 5.30 pm for delicious local food at great prices. Live entertainmant on Thursday night, great atmosphere. We've just had 2 weeks in Rarotonga and ate at the night market 8 times.

Muri lagoon is a slightly deceiving location. Standing on the beach it looks just beutiful with the clean sand, little island and blue water it makes a perfect location to stay. My only dissapointment was the lagoon life, I dont know wether it pollution or just too many people interacting with the environment, but there is not much to see... More

Very safe for water sports, stunning when the sun is shining. Nice to walk along. Beautiful outlook to the islands.

This is one of the few areas for excellent swimming and snorkelling. Nice and safe for all the family and really enjoyable. Have a cup of coffee at Sails.

Lots of fish in this reserve, as soon as you enter the water. Easy snorkeling around the protected reefs.

Fringed by palm trees and golden sand, azure blue, cool and enticing, the Muri Lagoon is just beautiful! Even on a dull day! The picture postcards do not lie. We walked the sand, snorkelled in the clear waters, picnicked on the shore of one of the small islands. It is paradise!

Probably the safest beach for children as the lagoon is very calm and not deep at all. For those looking for snorkelling, etc. There are better spots on the Island. It's really just a beach for sun bathing, taking mind blowing scenic photos, etc.

Beautiful and tranquil, very safe place for the kids to swim, but then so is most of the lagoon. NOT one of the best snorkel spots though but great for relaxing.
