This was my 3 year old's first time on the Reef Sub, and his friends first time in a boat. We went out after seeing the Reef Sub in action over the last 3 years and thought it... read more

I'd rather spend a little more and go do the lagoon cruise again. For the price you pay and the length it is. I think it's overpriced. Esp since they don't offer for you to feed the GT (giant trevally -they forget to tell you that this is what GT means). And they only take you to about 2-3 spots... More

This was my 3 year old's first time on the Reef Sub, and his friends first time in a boat. We went out after seeing the Reef Sub in action over the last 3 years and thought it was time we had a turn! Many visiting friends and rellies had been and really rated it. It was lots of fun... More

This was our second trip to Rarotonga and having done the excellent snorkel trip last visit we decided to do the reef sub this time. The staff were friendly if a little disinterested. There was very little interaction, no engagement or stories or entertainment which was very different to the snorkelling trip. I understand they can't control what is seen... More

Hey this is Raro.....it's not like it's the adventure capital of the world. You go here for the simplicity and laid back nature of the place. However this wee activity is a must do. The sub tour is great and our kids loved it....so did we! Definitely the highlight of any trip. At $65 per head per adult ($35 for... More

Go under the sea and wild fish come up to your nose ! You can get a view anytime from the top or go under the semi sub to see the ocean floor.. Travel through outdoor reefs, see a lost ship at the bottom,Turtles,Rays, and more await ! Great value around $60.00 each.

This was a good prelude to visiting the whale centre. I loved going downstairs and seeing all the marine life in their natural environment. My favourite part of the trip was exploring the wreck of SS Maitai. It was impressive to see the remains since it was sunk in 1916. The guide was a very knowledgeable lady who pointed out... More

We saw the Reef Sub advertised in town and decided to make a booking. Huw and Sheryl were both great. Sheryl checked out the morning conditions and suggested heading out on the later trip when there'd be a better chance of seeing some of the sea life. Huw picked us up from our accommodation and provided a great overview of... More

We saw this attraction advertised at the Saturday market, picked up a flyer to have a think about it. We later booked through our hotel. We had a courtesy van pick us up and drop us off. The trip was awesome, going out beyond the reef, and touring the historical wreck. The staff were friendly and full of lots of... More

First up this attraction helps fund the whale research undertaken by the whale centre so you and enjoy a good trip and make a financial contribution to good works. There is a lot to see and we spent the whole trip in the semi-submersible part. the guidesa re knowledgeable. Dont disregard this and its really good for kids.

Thank you. Most people spend 50/50 below deck and upper deck but the keen Marine Life Spotters don't miss anything underwater. More

This boat is cool. You go down into the bottom of the boat were there is glass window and you can see all the fish, boat wrecks and we saw a turtle. When we bring the kids over we will be back to see you guys as the would have a ball on your boat. This is a great thing... More
