Description: WELCOME TO MARLIN QUEEN FISHING CHARTERS!Serious about Big Game Fishing...
WELCOME TO MARLIN QUEEN FISHING CHARTERS!Serious about Big Game Fishing? Great so are we!Fishing aboard Marlin Queen is the ultimate game fishing experience in Rarotonga, Cook Islands. A successful blend of Rarotonga's best known and most trusted Captain (Junior) with a purpose built deep sea boat means a day out on the ocean doesn't get any better! We work extra hard to make sure your fishing trip is an unforgettable experience! Rain, hail or shine - we go fishing! If it's your dream to catch big fish, you will not find a more dedicated team to help you do it! As soon as you leave the Avatiu Harbour the water gets very deep, very quickly so no time is wasted in getting those lures into the water to find the "Big Ones". Sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacular view of the island in a safe and relaxed atmosphere - unless of course you are on our "early bird" trip which leaves at 6am (and it's still dark) to the FAD's to meet the Yellow Fin Tuna when they rise for feeding. The early bird catches the worm - and so do we! The fishing in Rarotonga is great all year round and our well equipped boat has everything you will need. Whether you're a novice or experienced angler your enjoyment is guaranteed. We provide refreshments, snacks, comprehensive safety equipment, flush toilet and use the latest Shimano fishing gear. Captain Junior is famous for making his own lures - guaranteed to attract the Big Ones! Shared and private charters are available and you can choose whether you want to fish for a 1/2 day or full day. Our minimum is one person and for larger groups (over 10) we will organise your own "inter-boat" fishing competition, loads of fun for the competitive at heart. Want the "Ultimate Fishing Holiday"? We specialise in complete fishing, accommodation and transport packages, tailor-made to suit your individual or group requirements. We have a great range of accommodation and transport options to suit your every need and budget, so sit back, relax and let us organise your dream fishing holiday. Don't wait until you arrive in Rarotonga to book your trip as demand is high - avoid disappointed, book your trip now!

Had an amazing days fishing with the Marlin Queen Charters - we booked to go out on the Bobbi Marie as prefered the stabicraft over their other boats. We were suppose to leave at 5.30am, but got a call the night before to say the weather had turned, and they would ring at 8.30am to see how conditions where. They... More

A great afternoon of fishing with Captain Brendan. Arrived at the fishing spot and the only boat there to hundreds of birds diving into the water and big fish jumping out of the water. One of the most amazing sites ever when you see Yellow Fin Tuna surfing in the waves behind the boat. This went on for the 4... More

WOW... what an absolutely brilliant, fantastic and memorable fishing trip I've just had with Marlin Queen Fishing Charters on Friday 20 March 2015. I booked the trip as a belated birthday present for my 24 year old nephew, Sean. We were met at the boat (Reel Time) by Diane who welcomed us and produced a tray of sandwiches, fruit and... More

This would have to be one of the worst experiences of my life. First we get plonked on a different boat as we where told they had experienced some problems. This boat was not even fit to carry animals let alone people. Between the unbearable noise of the engine and the diesel fumes coming from below deck, these where the... More

I spent quite a bit of time doing my own research to try and find the best fishing charter on Rarotonga and I settled on Marlin Queen for several reasons. One, they made it easy to book a fishing charter online from the United States easy and because of the good reviews they received on several social websites. Diane was... More

They picked me up at 5.35am from our motel and took me to the wharf (to save my wife from gettin gup and dropping me off). Went out for 6 hours with Captain Junior. Caught 3 Yellow Fin Tuna and one large Mahi Mahi. Junior chases the fish hard. He can tell what sort of fish are in the water... More

From pick up to the return to the hotel the trip was a great adventure. Starting early am my ride, Junior, was waiting to transport me to the boat. Lines were in the water pretty much as we set off. Brendan did a great job all morning as well as being good company. As ever, a fishing trip always seems... More
