Every step of the experience was genuinely cared after under ARA. We were received and guided as guests and felt the entire time the outfitters were always willing to go out of process to help accommodate any request we had. The guides were extremely knowledgable of good spots, best bait, tangles, gear fixes and always ready to put in the... More

Booked a rafting trip down the Kenai River with this outfit. Basically a rubber bottom boat with seats. This river runs pretty quick and everyone had to be covered up due to the temperature of the water. We looked like Sumo wrestlers when all was said and done. Our guide was pretty quiet but did answer any questions we had... More

My B&B guest chose "ARA" for a quiet day We had an amazing river ride with Kenny. Tops in service, tops in safety, tops in great customer focus. He had enough local factoids to punctuate the conversation without being too chatty. Josie (our contact) made it easy to accommodate our needs, and the day yielded innumerable photos to capture the... More

I went on a guided salmon "walk in" this morning with Nick from Drifters Lodge, out of Coopers Landing. We left at 3:45 A.M., started fishing about 4:45. We filled our limits and were walking out about 6:20. It was a great trip and Nick did a great job helping land the salmon. This was a true "Alaskan fishing adventure".... More

"I had a wonderful time visiting Alaska for the first time, but one of my favorite experiences was going down the Kenai River with Jeremy. He was not only a great teacher, but has a great sense of humor. He was very patient with my lack of fishing skills and he definitely gave me helpful tips. I would definitely suggest... More

I am a VERY inexperienced when it comes to fishing. I went out on a full day trip with Ty, which was my first time fly fishing ever. I was a little hesitant but Ty was a great teacher and made me feel very comfortable and excited about being on the river. We fished the middle Kenai that day.(August) I... More

Jeremy is a fantastic guide and teacher, and had me catching fish in no time--also had a great time doing it! The guidance and the tools were both excellent and we spent most of our week in Alaska fishing with Alaska River Adventures. I would highly recommend this company to anyone for their professionalism, know-how, and sense of fun!

I can't say enough good things about this company or the staff. Particularly our guide Luke who helped us catch the King Slamon below. It was super early in the season and the odds were stacked against us, but Luke made it happen and helped us achieve out Alaskan dream of catching a king salmon. Thanks Luke!

It was my wife's first trip to Alaska. The staff was knowledgeable, courteous and willing to help in any way possible to make our experience as good as possible.

Very pleasant float trip on the Kenai River. Four couples and the guide. Our guide was professional and knowledgeable. We were provided with gear to keep dry. On our trip the River was up two feet from rain and runoff. A great way to see the Kenai if you do not wish to fish.
