The view was nice but I suppose it would be a great place to start hiking if you would like to do that. Even better view at Tahiti is the Plateau at Tahiti-Iti. From there you can see south of Tahiti-Nui if the wearer is clear.

Rent a car or motor bike and get there. A must view to see in Moorea. It goes without saying this is the camera/photo opp of the island.

We rented a scooter & drove to the lookout point. It was beautiful ! We were able to see Cook's bay & the surrounding mountains from there. It was a bit hairy at times on the scooter but well worth the drive.

I loved the view from this point, easily gotten to by motor scooter but on Cruise day way too many people and dangerous drivers.

This is well worth the trip up the mountain. We rented a car and though the road winds around and at times is a bit narrow, it felt safe (go slow). The view at the lookout was like nothing else. The photos we took there were breathtaking and we put them in our photo book to remember them and the... More

A simple matter to rent a car or take any of the many tours, most of which include this stop. (We did both, going back by car to hike. What a viewpoint! I recommend using video mode on your camera/phone to do a slow full 360 degree sweep. Panorama mode wI'll run on and on linearly for an unsatisfyingly unreal... More

Long slow hike up the winding mountain road. Moderate fitness level needed. It has rained every time I have walked or ran the road. It can be slippery on the way down, breathable sneakers not hiking shoes are best because of the heat factor on the black paved road. Make sure to spare time for the juice/jam/smoothie/ice cream stand on... More

If on Moorea, you might as well go up there. It was the trailhead for our hike to 3 Coconuts Pass (a much better view!). I would like to have had time to walk through the archeological site on the road up, but first priority was the hike, with its view on only of the bays to the north, but... More

It was a cloudy day and views were a little hard to see but nonetheless a great stop along your sightseeing way. We rented a car and drove up. We took a few pictures and left. If your pressed for time, skip this attraction and go to Magic Mountain.
