We took an ATV tour up to Belvedere Lookout. That was a lot of fun, and the views all the way up were amazing. You'll be able to see both Cook's and Opunohu Bays from the lookout, and you'll get to take some beautiful pictures. The mountain that lies between the bays looks like it's straight out of a fairytale!

Not sure if my problem is with the lookout (which is fine, not great) or with the ATV tour that took me there (which wan't great). Don't get me wrong, the view is good. You can spot both bays. And avocado trees, which I had never seen before (so I thought that was cool). But come on, this isn't the... More

Unfortunately you do need a good sunny day to go here. The view is amazing, can see both bays. If there is a cruise ship in its exiting to see it from here. On the way there are interesting places to stop. The agricultural college is one - make the most divine jams.

While you're in Moorea, don't miss visiting Belvedere Lookout for a magnificent view of Cook's Bay and Opunohu. Along the way, you'll pass charming homes and get a glimpse into the lives of the Islanders. At the top, on a clear day, you can almost see forever. We used Albert's Tours (air conditioned bus) and were not disappointed.

We took the ferry from Tahiti to Moorea for the day. We rented a car, and drove around the island. One of the sites to see, was at Belvedere lookout.....and it didn't dissappoint. Once you got up to the top, and the road was all paved, it had specatcular views of 2 of the bays on Moorea....made for some great... More

This is a great way to see the layout of the island of Mo'orea. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day and we had a little bit of sprinkling going on. We could see the cruise ships below.

By car or foot (or run), great views of both bays and mountains. The hill is steep, but the reward is at the top.

This was a fantastic view of the 2 bays, definitely worth the drive up. This is one thing you must do on Moorea. But for a view just as good, or maybe even better, go check out the Magic Mountain lookout. You can't get there by car, but if you can it is worth it.

We saw this as a part of out your with Alberts. Tom was our guide and he was marvelous! Has grown up there and has seen filming of movies, how land gas changed and will share history of islanders and his family.

As the title states, I bet it's a fantastic view during clear weather... Unfortunately the day my wife and I visited, we had lots of rain and cloud. It didn't dampen our day however....We could see the two bays, but the fantastic colours that French Polynesia is renown for just weren't there for us. Still, I believe this a must... More
