Beautiful Viewpoint

We drove up. It was an easy drive coming up from Haapiti. Pictures are stunning. We didn't do the hike as we had just come up from the beach at Oponuhu Bay. It's well worth it.

Stunning landscapes and sweeping view of the island's valleys and out to the sea. Tip: be adventurous and ask a guide to take you for a hike through the jungle to a hidden waterfall nearby.

It's a bit of a drive, but one of the nicest looks on Moorea, selfie heaven what with two bays in the background for the price of one. Still resisting the infringement of civilization, which is nice...

Gorgeous location to take photos of Moorea. Don't miss the trail behind the parking lot - North side one. It takes you on a beautiful hike to a waterfall (waterfall is nothing but the hike is fantastic). You get to see all the gorgeous plants and trees that grow in the jungle that you won't find out by the beaches.... More

Worth the trip up. Some of the most beautiful views on Moorea. Would recommend taking the trip on a scooter.

Not as spectacular as Magic Mountain but you can drive a rental car to this lookout. If you are driving around the island it is a worthwhile stop.

Belvedere Lookout is one of those classic vantage points that allows you to fully appreciate the landscape of a particular place, even on a wet afternoon (I understand mornings are usually recommended for better light and less chance of rain, but then you may encounter a lot more people). We went to the outlook as part of a half-day, small-group... More

We arrived at Belvedere Lookout as part of an atv tour which we highlight recommend. The break here was welcomed and provided a truly refreshing moment of respite while taking in the view. At the bottom of the lookout point there is a little stand where you can purchase pineapple preserves. They have several flavors. We bought a few and... More

This is such a fabulous vantage point to look out to Opunohu Bay and Cooks Bay. The mountains in the distance on a clear and sunny day are out of this world. Well worth a trip for a good picture. The locals like it there too and play music and party up there from time to time.
